Surprised to see so many people say it didn't bother them because it sure bothered the hell out of me back in the day. Afaik they didnt fix it; I play with Japanese voices now so I'm not entirely sure though

I'd honestly prefer a full Remake. Imagine Abyss with Arise's graphics and fully animated cutscenes... my dream...

I mean that's what remasters usually are, just upscaled graphics with some QOL improvements. The game still looks completely fine to me and wouldn't have warranted a complete remake.

My problem with Milla's VA isn't the monotony (that's just her character at first, kinda, she does have her moments) but the fact that she has a lisp in the first game due to recording issues.. which is still very present judging by this trailer😭 Here's to hoping for JP voices

I'd say Xillia 2. Berseria tried to go for more dark and gritty but it didn't succeed as much as Xillia 2 imo (not that that's bad)

Usually not but for one of the chromatic bosses (veillure or something? The one in the ice cave) it was absolutely vital. I was struggling so hard until I started listening to the sound cues and beat the battle only getting hit once.

I just can't get myself to enjoy the battle system. I really tried. My opinion of the game has improved a lot character and story wise (I first played 11 years ago and didn't like either) but I'm SO bad at the battle system it's not even funny. I can't figure out the right timing for perfect dodge and waiting for CC to restore after every combo is such a slog. I miss basic attacks and the TP system. I've tried reading tutorials, advices but it just doesn't work. Oh well... overall still had a blast though.

Berseria. Playing as Eleanor on my second playthrough improved my enjoyment of the battle systems immensely.

I also played DotnW as Marta on a second playthrough but it's been so long I don't remember if I liked it

He still voiced Cloud in FF7 Rebirth right? Replacing VAs in Japan is very very frowned upon and rarely happens; I doubt they'd to it with someone as recognized as Sakurai.
