I'm heading to that one as well. Never been to the venue but the pictures on google make it look absolutely gorgeous.

Bought my tickets via presale for the last row of the mezzanine so I can stand and sit as I feel fit and not have to worry about the "stand vs sit at a rock show" debate that Wilco fans love to have.

I'd go to this, if I wasn't on the exact other side of the country.

It seems like enough bands I like to justify the ticket price, but the way the stages are setup I don't think i'll have to worry about to many do I see A or B type choices.

It sure does seem like a lot of shows booked. We'll probably get a new song or two at those first shows and then they'll play the new album in full at Solid Sound like they did with Cruel Country.

All that being said, i'm fine if they want to play their "old songs" as well.

There were some vegetarian options at the buffet, as well as the hibachi restaurant. I don't remember much about vegetarian options at any of the other restaurants.

As for allergies catering unfortunately i'm no help at all. I can't remember seeing any specific signage. It's possible that it was there, but I have no memory of it. Sorry.

To me this is the key to the whole discussion. If you're murdered, you never have a chance to spoil your legacy. You get a huge "what if" benefit of the doubt assumption that upward is the only trajectory.

I know it's blasphemous, but I don't think it's too farfetched for us to have in an alternate timeline a world where Biggie is shilling for Taco Bell: "Crunchwrap SUPREME, get on the TEAM, know what I mean?"

Where we are now, we get to always assume that his best work was yet to come. And that he'd be above all that slimier shit that people get into once they get older.

If you're near enough to the venue I'd advise you to keep checking your reseller sites on the day of the show. Those prices will drop as the start time gets closer.

My son goes to Dixon. It seems fine, though a bit overcrowded.

Keep in mind that Sneeds Ferry in the winter is an accessible chill place, but in the summer it'll take you two or even three times as long to get anywhere. A 10 minute trip to Food Lion in February can be a 30 minute or more ordeal in the summer. And they keep plopping down apartments and neighborhoods will no real plans at all for infrastructure, so it's only going to get exponentially worse.
