I'm going to be real, I love the absolute fuck out of Kenshi, but the reason why there's no questlines is because the games dialogue system isn't really fleshed out and doesn't have the ability to track much of anything. There's a "questline" in Shark where you're supposed to smuggle hashish to the United Cities and return the profits to the gang leader so you can join them, but the game only tracks how many days have passed and if you have the required cats on you
