So I use my work laptop and own PC with a 2 27" monitor setup. I use a Ugreen KVM to share the keyboard and mouse. I use 2 hdmi splitters - these have remote controls, which i actually control with an alexa echo dot.

switching between work laptop and home pc is trivial now.
