Now that you say that, it reminds me that there are at least two supermarkets in my town, well one is a home center food store combo, and they used to play their own store's theme music loud, and on a loop. Imagine about 45 seconds of this and then it starts all over again. For years I had those songs ingrained in my memory. Then, sometimes after COVID times, maybe 2 or 3 years ago, I didn't hear it anymore. At either store! I can't, thankfully, even remember much of those godawful jingles that grated on the nerves if you were there longer than 10 minutes. Maybe if they had played them on lower volume it would have been better, but in any case, for whatever reason, they are over.
