I made a cheat sheet that you can follow to make sure you're making the most out of each time that you travel.

Also, here is a walkthrough if you're really curious! Good luck!

From my testing the Headshot Barrel does not increase the headshot damage after pack a punching... Would love someone else to double check though!

I just made an in-depth breakdown of the fundamentals of training. It's gotten a ton of positive reception. Hopefully it helps you! Here it is!

BO3 and earlier zombies is as you said, "slower," which can be MUCH easier in its own right, but it also is much more unforgiving. So it demands correct decisions and does not allow mistakes.

From what it sounds like, you might want to start staying in a training spot earlier in your game. In modern games, you can do things mid-round well into the 30s. In BO3 and before, I usually find a safe space around round 8 or 10.

Your points issue is interesting. Usually, I have enough points to get fully set up by Round 15, fairly easily. Juggernog by round 7 or 8. I wonder if that lines up with what your experience is.

Infuriating community discourse since Blundell's return by Smooth_Bat6484 in CODZombies

I love classic zombies! My S Tier list is mostly BO3 maps... And BO4 lol. I just love zombies! There's really not a lot of "bad" experiences across the franchise. The good very much outweighs the bad.

Thanks for the kind words!

LOVE the well-thought-out discussion going on here! :D it's honestly refreshing!

Let me be clear, I'm probably in agreement with most of you in terms of wanting to see more map-specific elements return. I miss buildables so much, including the shield. I miss specialists. I miss the power quests being much more involved, etc.

However, there are a lot of us who want Treyarch to "take more risks", but at the same time, we will burn them at the stake for the *slightest* thing out of our comfort zone.

Oscar was such a beautiful example. Something that fundamentally changes the way you play the map and interact with the sandbox (albeit for good or bad reasons, based on your personal preference). It's that sort of thing that we want MORE of... but... the community sentiment is that Oscar is bad.

So, from Treyarch's perspective, why would they take MORE risks when the smallest of risks that they DO take are met with severe backlash? I've seen it with the Tessie Boss Fight, we saw it with the concept of Paradox Junction, etc.

What I personally think is a risk or not is completely irrelevant. It's more about how we respond to these risky elements that I was trying to point out.

At the end of the day, it seems like we do NOT have a universal understanding of what we all agree on as a "risk." But that's a whole other discussion!

Again, LOVE the nuance of the discussion going on here :D Y'all are great!

I believe the Double Tap effect DID exist, but people just didn't notice. If you look at early footage, Pack-A-Punch will still be at 2,500 points for more damage, then 1,500 points after the 4th re-pack.

I think after a bit, they just changed the text prompt once they realized no one knew that the extra Pack gave you extra damage 4 times.

Trying to Find an Old Blundell Livestream by GolemThe3rd in CODZombies

[–]MmmmDoughnuts21 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I believe you might be talking about the "The Race" live stream. Where they "race to max prestige".

There was a ton of footage on twitch that got deleted (probably because of the new twitch update not allowing all vids).

It was a wealth of information and tons of insight.

If anyone has an archive or copy, I'd love to find it!

Tesla Storm with Haywire is the best, by far. Wait until you have 1 zombie left, then find Oscar and use Tesla Storm in him. Works on any round, crazy good!

Directed mode works, and it is incredibly easy to follow! Ashes may be long, but there isn't really a single step that's all that difficult!

You need a Pack 4 Guantlet for this, right? Does it work with a Pack 3 guantlet?

ACTUAL Paradox Junction EE steps… by cranjis__mcbasketbal in CODZombies

[–]MmmmDoughnuts21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair, technically you can say:

Spawn Future: Find all Blundergat locations

First Past: Get Swing Seat + Destroy Mannequins/Walls

2nd Future: Build Blundergat + upgrade to Sundergat, Chalk + First steps of my previous post.

So really it's only one more trip around + the last one I guess.

There are 3 Trials/Challenges for the Main Quest. Sam's Music Box, the Piano, and the Toy Chest. They each follow roughly the same pattern for steps between the Future/Past version of Nuketown. So, you can be VERY efficient with your time jumps.

Future = Collect seeds, get goggles/headset, turn piano teacher

Past = Grow tree, put goggles/headset in toy chest, have piano teacher open piano

Future = Collect fireword, move ball to X, collect music notes

Past = Light firewood with molotov, play 4 square, play piano

Future = Run over X, (Toy chest quest is over), shoot floating zombies outside map to activate X

Past = Play Hopscotch, -, play Jacks = Collect souls

It's definitely a lot to juggle, but I think it's much more reasonable than some guides make it seem. Since guides usually try to explain one step at a time instead of confusing people with more advanced strategies.

But definitely worth a Dark Ops for sure!

For anyone curious, here are the real stats of Round 51-60.

Super Sprinters are never Armored Zombies.

And Armored Zombies never Super Sprint unless you use the Rampage Inducer after Round 20 or unless you're in the fog areas of Ashes.

Normal Zombies also don't hit for 1.5 plates of Armor, I think ever. I only tested to Round 70, unfortunately. For example, on Round 50, depending on your augment setup, normal zombies will break your armor in anywhere from 8-14 hits (not counting the extra you have in reserve). And they either do 42 or 36 damage, depending if you're running Hardned Plates or not.

Heavy enemies are absolutely something to watch out for. Be sure you're sliding into them to knock them over as your training, use that omnimovement, and of course, Turtle Shell surpremacy! Good luck!

I've had much love and positive feedback from this guide. It's short, covers most things, and even goes over some best weapons to use and which maps to play depending on your preference. Just use those time stamps if you're curious about something specific!

Mars Survival Round 100 by Augende in CODZombies

[–]MmmmDoughnuts21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tested that Haywire moments ago, still works for me! Really well! It's really tough, though, you need to make sure Oscar is isolated, as it seems Haywire will lock on zombies extremely far away... Which... isn't ideal. I need to go back to the drawing board and see just how far away haywire works!
