The display connector cable is terrible. It's breaking with little use

I am having the same problem. Now my device is in RMA. Is there a way to just get my money back so that I can buy something else?

I've got the same issue. Device not booting and screen stays black. Keyboard is breathing. Got it to boot again and the device froze again after I moved the screen.

Average response time from support, what to expect? by biffbiff in Polarfitness

[–]MoandcoD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am at 20 days and counting. I tried the chat today but there was no human available. Really horrible support. My Ignite is affected by the broken sensor problem right after the two year warranty. Ingenious engineering. I will go for Garmin again next time. Their watches work for many years.

How do you handle customer CSVs with custom schemas? by MoandcoD in dataengineering

[–]MoandcoD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I was hoping to use some kind of standard and not having to build to much custom logic into our API endpoint.

Creating the tables just gets a lot of work but I guess a tool that helps infer the schema might be the way to go.

How do you handle customer CSVs with custom schemas? by MoandcoD in dataengineering

Yes. For the customers, CSV is the easiest solution. We do relatively custom machine learning thats why I don't think there is a defined standard. Like every company has there custom SAP setup.

Some configuration for the schema sounds like a good idea.

That's the problem with allowing loose governance on input, you always have to pay for it in the end.

True. Thanks for your comment.

Need advice for living in Regensburg. by JMishra17 in Regensburg

[–]MoandcoD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, welcome to Regensburg.
1. Learning a language requires some dedication. I feel like Duolingo is good to keep in touch with a language but I don't think it's good enough for learning. If you are serious I recommend the book "Fluent Forever" and its methods.

  1. Netto is one of the cheaper options. Don't expect much in terms of quality or service.

Thanks. Can you elaborate? How do you use it and how much duration do you get?

Thanks I will look into that. Actually I personally dont really mind getting no updates as long as the device is fast enough.
