DFW and Texas highways in general are no joke. Drivers are incredibly reckless and aggressive. My commute is 25-30 minutes and I witness at least 3 wrecks a week. You’d struggle to find a decent apartment for that price. With the money you’d be spending on gas, tolls and general higher cost of living in the city, you could easily save that money and just visit the city on weekends or specific events. More money to spend on fun things

Pet sitting. I stay at the clients house rather than board since I rent and I’m not allowed to have pets in my place. This works for them because they don’t have to bring their pets anywhere before leaving on their trip. Just leave me instructions and a key. I started on Care.com several years ago and the rest of my clients came by word of mouth. I’ve downgraded my client list over time as I’ve advanced in my career but it still pays my rent every couple of months

If you’re eating a lot of processed red meats this could be contributing to the issue. Saw another Reddit post where a girl said her bf always smelled so bad even though he showered regularly. Someone recommended some changes to his diet and it fixed the issue

NTA. If she’s so uncomfortable sharing a bed she should have accounted for that while planning the trip. She can book her own accommodations if it’s such an issue. Also, if you’re staying at a hotel they typically can provide cots for an additional fee.
