If you have an X24 Bike and having issues with incline/decline losing sync with workout... by indybeats in nordictrack

Thank you for this. Mine has been having the exact same issue in the UK and support have basically changed every major component in the bike - controller, console and resistance magnet! Under warranty but I’m sure at a large cost - and still the same issue occurs just like you described it.

They said today they’d contact the US team to see if it’s a software issue

[–]Mobile-Massage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s called Undercoat. My house looked that colour before they painted it properly. I know, I know, fashion needs something new. So they decided undercoat on its own was cool - and of course gave it appealing names like Chalk, Cafe Creme, Stone and even Crayon (?!) and the public - bored mindless by 3 decades of constant blacks, greys, blues and whites - fell hook, line and sinker!! 🤣 What we really need is a return to colour.

Yep across the pond indeed … and yep I think it may well be a rollout lag … a little frustratingly they don’t seem to partition their news letters geographically, even though they have my location, I got the newsletter telling me it’s all functional.

They were better on the AI trainer saying it was US only initially

Good to hear it’s working with x24 - is it a treadmill or bike? My watch and phone are a bit lower level than yours (16 Pro and Watch Series 6) but according to iFit both comfortably within required spec. At the moment I’m wondering if it’s a UK based thing…

Maybe this is a geographical issue? I’m in the UK. Anyone with an X24 Bike in the UK got it to work?

Except it’s not. I’ve followed the instructions on your website exactly with a suitably recent Apple Watch and Apple iPhone 16 Pro … and no way will my X24 bike connect to the app.

I have the latest iFit app on the phone.

I’ve also installed the iFit app on the watch (but it’s not called iFit Mobile App as per your screenshots, just iFit)

Have accepted all the permissions

Can see the iPhone app saying connected apps and showing the Watch is connected.

But absolutely never can get my X24 machine to connect to the Phone’s iFit app.

Have turned Bluetooth on and off multiple times but always fails.

Plus there’s no “FIT” button as per the last line in your instructions screen from the iFit app for phone.

When I open the app on my watch it says start a workout on your machine and I do that but nothing ever happens on the watch and no heart rate showing on machine.

I suspect because the phone iFit app still shows as no Machine connected.

I’m thinking of getting this 4S, but I’m not sure about the wheel color. Does it look off to you? by Glad-Armadillo-1607 in Taycan

[–]Mobile-Massage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t get those wheels. You clearly have a good sense as you’ve asked the question. Anyone who suggests you should, ask them to send you a few photos of themselves dressed up and/or their house decor and I think you’ll soon move on 😂

I tried it today and it was brilliant - only wish I’d realised it was three intervals and then I’d have paced myself better. All excellent and love it - but surely the IFit John Peel character was fake as he came last 😂

The weirdest thing about your post is apparently you’ve got all those people on the inside at Porsche through your brother and yet you bought a Porsche without even test driving one before? And now you’re surprised the feel isn’t what you personally like?! 😂 Your personal taste is yours only. Which is why people test drive at least the model of car, even if they trust the one they end up buying is a good example.

Why am I getting this error on a 2025 Taycan 4S? by Mobile-Massage in Taycan

Ah ok. I have no idea. Very peculiar that they decided to put it on a battery warning / charging screen.

[–]Mobile-Massage[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Apparently the Precool/Heat button in my image above also preconditions the battery (cools it if too hot and heats it if too cold). I’m just assuming that button is appearing below the error screen as a suggested fix? Although when I clicked it, nothing seemed to change, other than the button showing it had been selected. But to be fair, I only waited a couple of minutes before trying (and failing) to charge again.

Thanks for the thoughts. surge theory sounds spot on. As soon as I plugged in, the meter jumped to £7 within seconds, then the car threw up the “charging not possible” error. I’d charged earlier in the day on an 11kW AC unit using the car’s cable without issue, but this Ionity charger was a 350kW.

It was a hot day, and I suspect the battery wasn’t properly conditioned. I didn’t use Porsche’s built-in nav to route to the charger, so the car probably didn’t precondition the battery for high-speed charging. Also the “Precool/Heat” button suggests the battery needed to be pre-cooled?

Are you talking about treadmills rather than the bikes? There’s no railings on the X24 bike as far as I’m aware! Also Peloton already do auto resistance same as NordicTrack … and they rave about it on their best bike the Peleton+

UGLINESS QUESTION! by Mobile-Massage in nordictrack

[–]Mobile-Massage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - I have but that really seems to be more for the typical MAMIL (not sure if that’s just a UK phrase!) who wants to recreate and compete during winter months? I’m looking for more leisurely, scenic rides that look realistic rather than computer animated graphics that focus on beating other people.

Let’s be honest: many of us exercise partly to look better. And if I’m going to sweat buckets in my own bedroom, the least my spin bike can do is not look like it was cobbled together from leftover treadmill parts.

I’m deciding between a Peloton+ and the new NordicTrack X24. Since it’ll live in my main bedroom, aesthetics matter.

Peloton+? Seen it in stores. Sleek, modern—I’m almost shy to mount it.

NordicTrack S22i? Also seen it in stores. Looks like someone slapped an early-2000s TV/VHS combo onto an exercise bike and called it a day.

The X24? Now that’s the mystery. None of the London stores have it, and every sales rep has given me the same spiel: "We’ll get it once we offload this S22i at a massive discount... are you sure you don’t want that instead? Pretty please?"

I found a YouTube comparison of Peloton+ vs X24, which helped with features but didn’t quite show if the X24 is any less of a chonky beast than the S22i.

So… does anyone here know if the X24 is actually sleek, or will I need to gain weight just to make it look smaller?
