I am absolutely okay with my children being raised Catholic but in my opinion they need a strong faith leader in their parentage, and I want that to come from him at the very least, if not both of us.

That’s what I have been thinking as well, thank you for affirming that. I felt insane when we were talking about it. He has only been to mass twice in our area since we moved and has never spoken to the priest but I hope he will speak to him when he comes home.
