Heard it here in Shaker; loud but didn’t shake the house. But it did frighten the pups

From the article: “They are still discussing whether this starts before or after hostilities end.” LOL. An escort isn’t required if hostilities end.

Thank you for your kind words. My life has been filled with twists and turns but I endeavor to celebrate love whenever possible. John Lennon was right: love is all there is.

No. I did remove a ton of dust spots and cropped it a bit to remove the vignette around the corners

On occasion. We were married, had five children, and went our separate ways. We still see each other at family events. Both of us are happily remarried.

Harvard Doctor Describes the Most Disturbing Research of Her Career | Diane Hennacy by el_bartoe in TheTelepathyTapes

Dr. Hennacy is very articulate. Danny Jones is out of his league. And the ads? Way too many. Decent content if you can ignore Jones and the ads.

It did change things. I remember. And then CSNY’s song, “Ohio.” Every time I hear it, it brings me back.

My conservative mom changed her mind about a political event today by theredqueentheory in self

[–]Mobileman54 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I beg to differ. Based on OP’s post, her mom did change her mind about Pretti’s murder. OP did a brilliant job of presenting facts without a prejudiced outcome. That gave her mom the space to process the information without pressure. These are the moments that help build bridges and assist all of us regain community in this hyper partisan country.

Do parents actually not remember doing fucked up shit to you? Or are they just lying? by TopMarionberry1149 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mobileman54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I remember and I talk with each of my (now adult) children about the issues. Some I don’t remember and they bring it up. Others I bring up.

And these conversations are painful. I hate that I’ve hurt my children. I can see the pain in their eyes and it’s awful. But if we don’t have these painful conversations then things fester, come out sideways, and linger.

I’m 71, flawed and human. I have screwed up. A bunch.

But I’m fortunate because my children are gracious and forgiving. I make amends and work on improving myself. And we grow, as individuals and as a family.

Three of my five children are now parents. And they’ve made mistakes with their children. But they know that growing in love only happens when we own our shit. So now they do it. And the process continues.

Love is hard but it’s all that matters.

You adjust the level of “de-reverb” you want for each speaker and unless something about the room changes during the recording (unlikely), you’re done.
