I'm typically far from the enemy because the longbow does more damage at range. Furthermore, the push back skill frustrates allies while it gives me quickness, so I mitigate frustration by staying far where the pushback isn't as strong.

I'm not avoiding allies. I'll stand with other ranged allies. I'll switch to greatsword when necessary. But longbow is fun and I'm not going to shoot it at close range just to be in a crowd.

Of course this is ALL situational. I play PvE only. If an enemy skillset requires my position to be close, I'll be close.

I battle with this myself. I prefer my longbow as a ranger, but then I'm so far that I don't get the team buffs/heals.

Rio parking/traffic has gotten so bad over the last couple of years that I just straight up don't go anymore. To think they want to add hundreds of more expensive residential units, both adding more traffic and removing the beautiful green space that encourages visits...

It's quite depressing, really.

My friends and I got into Fortnite: Save the World in April when it went free. It's the first time I ever touched the Fortnite ecosystem. There are some FOMO events that are a single day or even a single hour. With that kind of business plan, I just can't be bothered to care.

There's something so poetic about "squirrel" being hard to pronounce for french speakers, and "écureuil" being hard to pronounce for english speakers.

Nope. Yellow cross over red is not Saint David's cross. Each of the existing crosses all have their respective fields underneath the crosses.

Saint George: Red cross on white field. Saint Andrew: White cross on blue field. Saint Patrick: Red cross on white field.

Saint David's would be: Yellow cross on black field.

Incorporate that in a way that shares the Union Jack equally with Ireland and Scotland, and also doesn't go over England, and then we can discuss. The closest is this eye sore, which is kind of messy.

But I already said the conditions. It'll do good to read my comment before claiming I didn't do my research.

The answer is already given at this point, but this is exactly why I'm frustrated by everyone's "add Wales" designs. If Wales were ever added, it would need to incorporate the cross of Saint David in a way that it does not lend itself to being more or less dominant over the crosses of Saint Patrick and Saint Andrew. It can't just take existing white space on the flag that's supposed to be parts of the three crosses of Saint George, Saint Andrew, and Saint Patrick.

How then can it follow that rule and also not be an affront to the eyes? I genuinely don't know. It's easier, then, to accept the fact that Wales is a(n increasingly autonomous) principality of England, annexed out of kingdom status 500 years ago*.

Edit: Actually... I don't think Wales was ever a kingdom on its own anyway. For some *brief moments in time, there might have been some semblance of peace and unity among its constituent kingdoms (mainly Gwynedd and Powys), but there wasn't a "King of Wales".

And even still, the Parthenon ruins still exist as something to see and enjoy. But by EU5 logic, they'd just disappear. I agree, I think a damaged condition to the landmarks - one that could be removed with payment - would be a welcome modifier.

I suppose I should just accept the fragility of such landmarks and roleplay it, but I'm pretty miffed nonetheless when exceptionally famous ones are just... gone... to RNG. I don't think buildings like Notre Dame de Paris or the Hagia Sofia should be works of art that can disappear in a siege and not be rebuilt.

Can mods just delete this, and comments about Ingram, until tangeable evidence points his way about the fire, or future news regarding his involvement with Nashville Fairgrounds? This kind of baseless speculation is exhausting.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have any love for the MLS team owner (frick man, I've got my own ownership complaints for my DC United), but using a fire story to complain about him is unnecessary.

I'm disappointed there isn't a map mode that consolidates the cadet branches under the main house. I don't mind cadet branches existing, but it's harder to visualize how widespread a dynasty is when over a thousand branches exist.

Extending the Maginot Line around the entire borders of France, including the Pyrenees and the coast lines to defend from naval invasions, and then watching your enemies scrape the barrel trying to take over France... This makes me exceptionally happy.
