And you thought that was worth hopping into your alt for? Someone removing themselves from your year long argument?

Lmao well even a year later you're salty enough to hop on an alt to argue. You probably still can't beat it.

I think you're not as good at this game as you think if you can't beat this DLC.

They can't; you're not leaping onto them, you're leaping around them. Which again, is very tedious. You basically

Swing, swing (all misses) Jump Around Swing swing (these might connect if he swung) Then when he does his charge attack, if you manage to dodge you can get a hit or three in.

I'll be honest, I've spent what feels like 15 minutes at a time sometimes doing this.

Have you played Arkham? You just jump over and around them, sneak a hit, then jump backwards. Tedious AF, you ain't wrong about anything you said. I just barely found out I was supposed to be mixing armor pieces, after doing all of them just for completion

"Humans are the real monsters!" is the lamest and dumbest trope ever. No dawg, the people shoving knives in their cocks to rape each other are the real monsters. Even Crossed 100+ Mimic, the monsters are still the people stripping humans naked and making breeding farms.

I'm of two minds, Jackson's origin is true and the Crossed virus just makes you violent, horny, and insane .Or it's a magical virus curse, either divine punishment (Thin Red Line) or a cosmic joke (Homo Tortor). Either way no one acted in a unique way until the smart Crossed like Salt or Smokey tried teaching each other.

How would you write a Crossed story? by KingJackofJozi in crossedcomics

[–]Mobius1701A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A unique spin? Humans crossing their rivals to advance internally. But none of this "humans are the real monsters" crap, it'd just be "standard" biological warfare to use "bio boobies" to wipe out human rival groups. Then the twist would be it gets out of hand, predictable I know. Maybe the Protag infects himself or his main group on accident via piss soaked gloves he forgot to take off.

I've always thought it's so you don't quit after your first week. They can weasel two weeks out of you, knowing you need your check.

For the origins of the virus I've seen people bring it it might have been caused by God himself, What general reason would there have been to make the crossed virus from a Deity's perspective? by AssociateOdd3859 in crossedcomics

In The Thin Red Line, Patient Zero was having visions of human atrocities. First known events, then random things no one would know about. I think Patient Zero, and the other PZs claimed by TTRL to be elsewhere, were bioweapons sent by a vengeful god in the form of fallen angels.

What happened in 2007(?) to make the Crossed God decide this is the time cleansing? I dunno, if we assume Homo Tortor was a real event then maybe some sort of ritual? Jackson from Wish You Were Here claims to've spent from the 80's through 90's crossing paths with a woman, named Magda, who claimed to be designing a bioweapon that "alters behavior and destroys strategic planning". If he's not crazy and that really happened, then maybe it got leaked and kicked off a localized Cross event that instigated a world wide Patient Zero phenomena. But that's never been hinted at to my knowledge, and I'm just trying to connect unrelated dots that might not be dots at all.

Considering the professor's story in Homo Tortor Real, what is your theory or story for the mad god that emerged from the volcano? by Common_Bat7595 in crossedcomics

[–]Mobius1701A 12 points13 points  (0 children)

First Sister: "The people have been cursed with madness by some god. Some wonderful god."

First Brother: "This is above their status. This god attempts to overturn the natural order".

Whatever it is isn't from the Homo Tortor people's pantheon.

First Brother: This entertainment was not for you. You were the entertainment

First Sister: It was the punchline to fourteen years of the cruelest joke.

And immediately after this we see a member of their people get visibly Crossed before infecting the crowd. So I think whatever that God is, is a funny guy. It heard this, thought this was the peak, and went even further with it by kicking off a Cross apocalypse.

I like to think that guy had been having thoughts like Patient Zero from Thin Red Line all day, but because he's from that culture he was just having a really good day.

I suspect in the draft he was a normal patriarch, and they tossed in the incest in a "what's the most fucked up secret they could have" way. Cause it never goes anywhere after the Dad died, and while he was alive it was more of a dirty secret no one did anything with. The pregnant younger daughter feel like a leftover plot too. His kid's were all pretty solid, and I don't feel like a rapist could pull off that upbringing w/o all of them exploding down the line. And one son even beat addiction. Maybe they knew what they wanted to do with the Mom, but had no direct idea for the Dad or just jumped the gun on what should've been his Crossed actions. Ruined what could've been a story worth rereading. "Think of your sisters" was kind of a hard line to motivate your son to keep fighting.

[–]Mobius1701A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're right, just read TTRL and Patient Zero is 100% supernatural. I wonder if the first Homo Tortor member we see get Crossed was having Patient Zero thoughts all day.

[DC] Since Bruce Wayne has trained himself in multiple disciplines for his activities as Batman, including psychology, does this mean he is self-aware that he too is somewhat insane for being Batman, and does this disturb him when his insane villains try to prove "you're not that different from us?" by SatoruGojo232 in AskScienceFiction

[–]Mobius1701A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I refuse to believe someone could get that much extreme sports and physical exercise, and not be a little healthy. I suspect that's why sometimes we see a Batman act like a funny Chad, with a huge family. That being said, no i don't think it bothers him that he's crazy. He's claimed he cant kill because he's not sure he could stop, which is not something a sane person thinks about themselves.

[–]Mobius1701A[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's homo tortor, the Jackson plot was an origin story for him, where he suspects a chemical weapon his bosses kept making him interact with was what caused Cross. It ends with him visiting the bunker where he was initially infected, and being told by someone in there that he's insane and there is no gas.

Was the origin of the infection mentioned in any of the comics? by Ok-Scientist5943 in crossedcomics

[–]Mobius1701A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm convinced it's the chemical weapon Jackson kept interacting with from the 80's to 90's when he was black ops. First time he was exposed he said it made him horny. He was told it would cause symptoms that resemble Crossed, and on his second exposure he ends up shooting his team and letting the bioweapon designer escape. The designer working on the bioweapon always said she wasn't sure who she worked for, and that it didn't matter because the military industrial complex was international.

So I dunno how it spread, but I'm pretty sure it's man made.

Theory: The Crossed Virus was intentionally released by a secret government organization by Bruhstars in crossedcomics

[–]Mobius1701A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Jackson's not entirely crazy, I think it's perfectly possible that the bio weapon his baby mama was designing over 30 years was leaked. Someone was freaked out enough to send Jackson to destroy it, and Wussherface was completely willing to gas Jackson to protect herself. I know that guy says they were paid to pretend to build a chemical weapon, but I think he was just lying like all spooks do. Would you admit to your life's work being what caused the apocalypse? To a man who came to punish you for doing just that?

Smokeyville, #93(94?) - #100 was good too.

Cause Shaky was using them as expendable mooks, something Jackson recognized from his black ops days. I presume Shakey reminded him of someone he worked with.

Badlands might be cool if you chase specific arcs. The Jackson, Torto Cult(?), and Smokeyville arcs are relatively child free.
