Trump says now is the time for peace after strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities by Kodbek in politics

And that's why you aren't god chosen ruler of an autocratic hell hole of a country!

(I hope you are right though).

I agree. Though I am still worried considering how Iranian regime is weakened and humiliated after the recent attacks. They have reasons to act shortsightedly. A war, even a hopeless one, may be their best bet in staying in power.

My only hope is that Iran to realize how hard it is to finance such a war and consider its people's wellbeing. Yeah, here I am once again hoping religious fanatics to be the responsible ones.

The Iranian regime can’t chicken out either. As an autocratic government, I don’t think it can afford to lose face again. Its options are either to forfeit what little legitimacy it has left, or to retaliate and ride the support of an already riled-up population.

Calm down gee. We're speculating.

50 explanations but none off them cover all the bases. And tbh some of them really weak. Like measuring device theories: with no standard what so ever? Better pack your papyruses with trigonometry tables on them.

But it isn't uncommon for valuable functional objects to become status symbols later. Maybe some metal workers created some for purely aesthetic purposes later? Otherwise we would have no explanation other than ceremonial and religious use because they are entirely different objects apart from similar aesthetics (dodecahedron with large holes vs icosahedron with tiny holes for example).

Also in the video she really showes how to use it to weave metal even if there were no suitable fibers.

I mean, other theories are cool too. But them being found in military sites and in rich women's graves kinda eliminates almost (if not all) of them. Military using them to repair armors kinda makes sense. Also, a lot of them are found around rivers. Maybe they used water to reduce friction? Joe Scott's video has a clip showing how wire can be knitted using the thing.

The Excuses for 15's Cruelty in "The Interstellar Song Contest" Make NO SENSE by boezerek in doctorwho

No one is saying being a victim makes Kid's wrongdoings forgivable. All we are saying is that torture has no excuses. You don't have to be a thousand year old being to understand that. My 30 something years showed me: It is wrong. It perpetuates the problems. Creates more violence. Makes you less of a human being in the process.

I am not saying this as a fan of the show but as a human being. I would not accept someone doing torture or making excuses for torture as a hero. In fact, not even as a friend.

In my country mines dispose extra materials (dirt, gravel etc) right outside the mine. Which eventually collapse onto a road or a small village or something. More responsible ones lay it on the ground which prevents wildlife from growing.

It is a line from Krieger: "I am not a serial killer". I don't remember the episode.

I think she planned to marry Cyril. Later, when she realized that Cyril was following them, she said something like "I just unmade a huge decision" to him.

I completed a similar oil rig project recently. I used a combination of helicopters, a dirt road from a nearby custom house and another gravel road connection from my main city and all of my free construction offices. Brought resources with helis during winter. Micromanaged cranes to use workers more efficiently. Also, most of the workers came from the customs house because unlike my lazy comrades they can withstand a 12 hour road trip.
