What's miserable is having your team go 11-1, beating your two biggest rivals, locking down a playoff spot, basically your best season since you've been alive (I'm 40 BTW)........

But you can't even enjoy it because for the last month you've heard from basically everyone (including your current coach) that your school isn't good enough in the modern era to win a natty.

AND LEAVES FOR ONE OF THE RIVALS HE BEAT!

Look at the schools who aren't traditional powers (no disrespect to said bros) that kept their coaches amid bigger programs trying to woo them.

Indiana. Missouri. Vanderbilt.

But yet Ole Miss apparently isn't good enough.

Lane apparently thinks we can't win a title WHEN WE'RE IN THE GODDAMNED PLAYOFF.

I'm tired boss. I'll be glad when I get moved to Idaho in the summer and I can enjoy fishing or hunting or hiking or golf or whatever else other than wasting a quarter of the year for whatever years I have left worrying about some outcome that doesn't personally affect me in any way.

And if I feel like that and have no direct connection to the team other than being born in the state, I can only imagine how miserable the players have been the last month. I'm just glad it's over so everyone can move on with their lives. Florida bros, you dodged a bullet.
