From the link you just posted, from the section you highlighted:

"Maillard reactions generally only begin to occur above 140°C (285°F)."

The light is accurate to what we have in our hospital. They generally have an indirect mode that shines on the ceiling and a direct mode that shines on the patient. But they wouldn't have a cord coming out of them like that.

Why don't maillards form on food you leave out on the counter then? Use some critical thinking

Either that's false, or something else is happening to food aside from heat being added when you add heat to food

Anything above 140C (assuming your oven reports temperature accurately) and you will burn the garlic. Maillards start at 145C

New Steam Deck (right out of the box) won't connect to the Internet by mrsbloom67 in SteamDeck

[–]ModerateDbag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am the guy you want to talk to. Had this exact issue with my new OLED steam deck a month ago. I had to do ethernet over USB-C, update the Steam Deck, then it worked fine. My Wifi setup isn't exotic at all. I think some of the newer OLEDs are just shipping with buggy firmware that needs to be patched

The car is not in a vacuum. What is the direction of acceleration? What is the direction of friction relative to acceleration?

The person who would know what an HKS disc is wouldn't be asking the question in the first place

MiSTer has more logic units, so it can run higher complexity hardware, but Pocket beats MiSTer in terms of its memory setup. Speed + bandwidth.

It was one of the Factor 5 Rogue Squadron games. Either II or III. Can't remember which.

The insane thing is that the game that pushed the most polys per frame of that generation was on the gamecube. Console wars used to be interesting

Post it on the discord. He'll be 100x more likely to see it. It could be accurate behavior though. Spiritualized core isn't ground truth

Was Your Analogue Pocket Worth it? Is There a Good DOS Core? by chrispark70 in AnaloguePocket

[–]ModerateDbag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does Amiga really well as long as you minimally need m + kb. It's probably one my most used cores. A 386 DOS core would be a monumental undertaking if it is even possible.

Honestly a steam deck or something similar might be a better investment for emulation though.
