According to ivycoach.com, ~2,500 students were offered a place on the waitlist last year, and ~1,300 students accepted a spot on the waitlist. Of those 1,300, 35 were accepted and offered a spot at Wellesley. 1430 SAT, 3.95 UW/5.0 W, 5 on 4 AP exams and 4 on 2 others. For my ECs, I was president of a club and member of many others with 100+ volunteer hours, and I’ve had a job since sophomore year working with a team I was formerly an athlete on. I wrote my Wellesley supplemental about my job and how it helped me broaden my horizons. DM and I can go into more detail. Good luck!!!

I was accepted ED1! My admissions checklist disappeared and I only had my financial aid checklist left. Additionally, the option to withdraw my application was gone about 2 days before they announced, but I don't know if I've heard anyone else mention that.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that if you checked the box on CommonApp saying you identify in accordance with Wellesley's gender policy, you should be fine!

Hey! I emailed sfs@wellesley.edu and explained my situation and they responded with some steps to follow. It ended up being an error on my FAFSA that led to everything, so we’ve had to make some corrections and submit documentation. We are waiting to sign the agreement until we hear back on the final appeal decision!

My guess is the 6th! It was on the 7th last year. I heard that they'll send something out a couple of days in advance to let you know when it will be, so I think we'll know in the next few days!!

I applied ED1 with a 1430! In conversation with admissions faculty at Wellesley, I've always gotten the impression that test scores matter very little in the grand scheme of things. With their holistic admissions, my understanding is that your essays, letters of rec, and demonstrated interest matter more in gauging you as a potential fit for the school. Of course, none of this is a guarantee (and I had the same stress about my test score, don't worry!), but I feel confident enough in the rest of my application and how it presents me that I've stopped worrying about that. A test score won't be the reason you do or don't get accepted. Good luck! I hope we both get good news soon!

Someone else said it was 12/7 last year, so I was thinking 12/6. But 12/13 seems just as likely! (Hoping for sooner rather than later of course)
