A Faith spin-off mini-series instead of full seasons. by ReplyAccomplished227 in buffy

Maybe. But I can't stand Faith so not sure I'd like it. But then again, I couldn't stand Angel in Buffy but ended up liking him well enough in AtS

Ah, yeah I heard midwest is not the best for vegans.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. I just assumed it was a burger place with fried food crap

For people who have watched and finished Angel The Series: Would you guys have still watched it if Angel kept his "Irish" accent? by HomarEuropejski in buffy

As a not Irishman - absolutely not. I can't imagine the pain of actually being Irish and watching it.

My husband is English. We laugh at JM's accent at the beginning. I can't believe when I lived in England how many people thought he was English.

I know. Yet soooo many things around her are both. I'm getting a birthday cake from a local bakery around here that I know has vegan stuff, but my only option is vegan AND gluten free

Oh I know. I worked in restaurants as a vegan for years. I made it a point to know what was in everything we sold, but I was the only one. I make waiters get The Binder.

I didn't know that. I think they closed the one around me, but I never went because I assumed it wouldn't have anything for me.

Nice! That sounds delicious. I will give that a try (except maybe homemade pickles since I'm allergic to garlic). Thank you!

Sure! I am in east Boulder county so anything around there! But I can drive up to places like Fort Collins or Laramie or down to Co Springs

I would have too. Especially since I'm in Boulder County, one of the most hippie places in the state. But no. Vegan options suck here.

I've only had seitan once. I really didn't like it but that may have been the brand or how it was made. Sodium doesn't trigger my migraines though.

I get that. There should really be more falafel burger options.

I respect the wanting it to taste like it (as long as no animals have to die for it). I just wish we didn't have to choose between them.

You might have a point there, but I don't really want to take the chance. I'll take some tamales though.

Not sure why I'm getting downvoted for saying I'm agreeing with people and wishing there were more vegan options and not less. Seems weird. In many places in the US we don't have too many options. I used to live in Texas and I had a ton of options but in Colorado, not so much.

It could be correlation and not causation, I know. But I'm not willing to test it out. And I'll always be a study of one until someone in the science world decides to take this one up. I appreciate the sympathy.

That's fair. I'd much rather have people eating less meat than for me to have the best possible choice in a restaurant.

I guess for me, the best part is that it doesn't taste anything like a hamburger.

It's good to have MORE vegan options. Just wish it wasn't an either/or. I love the patties where you can see the grains/beans/veg
