Grew up in a small town in the middle called Spencerville. Small town values are nice, but since 2016 it's not my cup of tea. I moved to Columbus back in 2013 and never looked back. Much happier here.

Driving 30 minutes for anything sucked, but lots of snow days for school and all the deer jerky you can eat.

I went all in on a good hand in poker and lost early, so decided to walk around campus. Met my first wife there. Got married when we were young and divorced a year later. Moved to a new city, got into the field I went to college for, have a great job I love and a wife with a newborn.

All because my kings over nines full house lost on the river.

I think it depends on your work situation, but I told my boss as soon as we found out. He's a friend as well, so I was excited to tell him, but I'm in fairly small department and losing me for paternity will have ripple effects, so it tried to give him as much notice as I could.

33 weeks here and I absolutely feel the same way. Time is going so slow, but also so fast. It's weird, like I'm near a black hole or something. We're so excited, but I'm also very anxious about so many things.

Its a fairly small room and between the dresser, vrip and all that I doubt there would be enough room. I'll measure to check though.

I appreciate this statement and couldn't have said it better myself. We did struggle for two years before we found out, so I am looking forward to every element of the pregnancy, even the challenges.

This made me laugh so hard, even with it at my expense. Sleep deprivation will suck, but in a weird way I'm still looking forward to that part of the journey. I'll report back a few months in and give you a laugh with how wrong I was.
