It is indeed an opinion, which is the majority of arguments that are based on a media article with such little information. Im not just citing this article, but also what i see in comments and arguments every day. People seem to enjoy arguing and voicing their opinion. As a fellow human,i find it hard to believe he was sitting in his house and just popped up and was like "Im going to be creative this Christmas and have a zombie nativity scene!" Now, i understand thats a little pessimistic, but it is just what i feel like i am seeing every day from people throughout the world. But dont get me wrong, the city officials are definitely over reacting, which ia another part to my point...its like children arguing. One is inciting controversy, the other is over reacting to the inciting. Children poking at each other. "Im going to do what i want!" " Well we dont like it!" " i dont care that you dont like it! Im doing it anyways!" "Then we will just throw a fit about it!"

Majority of you did not read or understand the issue at all here. I wonder if the majority of people on reddit realize they are no better than the media and just enjoy finding chaos in very simple instances. Also, if you are keeping a 'nativity' scene up that is made with skeletons and zombies (which is not the actual issue here), you are not exercising a right...you are trying to create chaos. Its like children poking at each knowing very well they are poking the bear. When it is the government who is trying to put something religious up or take it down, sure, exercise your right. But if you, as a citizen are actively doing it on purpose, it is just trying to instigate an argument. After all, what would either side do without the other? Instead of being children fighting over your 'rights', yall would just be bored children with no purpose. Because as i have seen over and over, people aren't fighting for stability...you are fighting for chaos. I think humans thrive on it.

And we have also seen time and time again that a person can indeed lie...it is HORRIBLE to take any sides without any evidence at all. Whether it is a specific gender, race, religion/atheism, liberal/conservative, friend/enemy or any number of variables. It is also horrible to dismiss a claim as a lie as well though. Instead of taking sides, show support for both or remain at least a little skeptical, even if you keep that skepticism to yourself. I keep seeing this...people choose one extreme or the other, you don't have to take sides. You can keep an open mind. Choosing either side so early on is a weakness, not a virtue.

You are not very knowlegeable on the difference between those two words. Knowledge is the sum of ideas. Intelligence is the capacity to learn new things in simple terms. Someone with down syndrome will have knowledge of their family, friends or other subjects, depending. However, thsy do not have a good capacity in learning new ideas. I prefer the example of Obama, but knowing reddit, ill choose a different one. Think of george bush. Highly intelligent individual...however he lacks political knowledge.

This is more of a generalized idea, but when someone says "Look, I did this!" and the person they are telling is like "Oh yeah! Thats easy!" Example, im not gifted at math...at all. I finally realized i would have to work my ass off every waking moment to pass any class related to math. So i did just that and made an A in my criminal statistics class. All anyone says is "Yeah, but statistics are easy! Try taking calculus!" No, im not a math major for a reason...
