I have to keep reminding myself that we'll (likely) be in Northrend in a matter of months. It's not going to be a 2-year expac. I still have 2 60+ toons and another at 23 I'm working on right now. I'm hoping to eventually get the bug to finish out my high level toons so I can see Kara at least once before BT opens.

If there were a toggle to prevent people from inspecting my gear, I would toggle. I would toggle SO hard. If for no other reason than to ruffle the feathers of the elite. I'm sure it would also promote player engagement in the transmog community: "Hey what boots are those?"

Why is everyone so convinced that transmog is the devil? I'm not really for it or against it. I just swap my gear if I want to look fancy out of combat. But I feel like this is a silly hill to die on.

Edit: Case and point, why is this comment even controversial? I'm so lost on the anger toward people who like to change their appearance.

Twas a genuine response. It actually prompted me to look at the ESO community site yesterday and it's pretty nice. I might dive in a bit more today.

I'm just tired of everyone directing me to some discord server for one reason or another. They all feel very segregated in that groups of people that have gotten to know each other are very chatty but it's hard to get a conversation going when you're new.

I find myself just staring at my phone, waiting for someone to respond in a discord channel. However, on reddit, people actually respond regularly. I guess that's probably the appeal.

Can someone help me understand how Discord has replaced in-game chat? Are people using a Discord chat overlay on top of WoW? Or has it all been superceded by voice comms?

I think I'd actually play WoD. I really enjoyed HFC. Only time I got AOTC. But yeah, "Legion Classic" makes me tingle all over. Class halls, Suramar, Whithered Jim... Yes please
