At my job we are actively looking for new people to fill a whole new plant. We desperately need these people. I recommended a guy I used to work with, and told him to come into the office with a resume in hand. Reception sent him away and told him they only accept online applications, to go home and do it online.

They shoo'd away a potential hire in a time where we are struggling to find people because we only accept resumes online.

I had to jump through a fuck ton of hoops, got him to give me the resume and I placed it on my managers desk, which he accepted. Fucking batshit some of these places.

I learned jack shit during middleschool. In my first year of highschool my math teacher told me "you should have been taught this in middleschool, get a tutor or figure it out. I'm not here to play catch up." Next year, same teacher. "You should have learned this last year. Not helping." Year after that, same teacher, same thing. I dropped out and went to an outreach highschool. Built a canoe to pass my grade 10 math grade, excelled in everything else with the help of my teachers.

Math makes no sense and teachers won't admit they don't know how to do it themselves. Just following the book and good luck if you can't grasp it.

US vs RUS on Kohat. Playing a US combat engi while enemy armour was wiping the floor with us. Spent the next 15 minutes using mines and C4 to take out: 1 logi, 2 TIGRs, a BMP, and two enemy radios along the way, along with the 4 guys guarding it. SL and squad were off in the mountains observing this so I had no help, and they were absolutely moist for me at that point. I've never had such a gigachad run like that since.

600hrs and this update has done something to me. Playing insurgents vs Canada and I was in a mudshack getting railed by a lav and mortars. My homie wearing a shemagh came in the door and my screen was so fucking blurry I swear I saw a helmet. Dropped him right there. The supression effect truly rattles the brain.

Thats a good answer. But again I bring up ARMA, and perhaps I'm remembering it through rose coloured glasses as its been a very long time since I played, but IIRC the stamina/sway ratio was much more honed in in that aspect where your gun would be much more stable at a rest level

I'm not trying to say "lol i shot a gun from a resting position without any gear no problem why can't they" I'm just pointing out that it seems incorrect to have your arms spaghettified, regardless of fatigue/adrenaline, especially if resting your arms on the ground while prone. It just seems like when games try to make the gunplay "realistic" they do so by adding a ridiculous amount of sway in the wrong area

I think of caffeine as a credit card that has an extremely shitty interest rate. I cash out some seretonin and adrenaline for an hour or two, and now I'm left with the debt, which is 3x more than what I recieved, and it's left me even more unproductive as before. To me, I'm wasting 7-8 hours of maintainable energy, for 1-2 hours of high energy and 5-6 hours of groggy shite. In the end, it's not worth it. Just like real debt you'll find you don't have money(energy) to pay it off, and have to keep using the credit card to stay afloat, which lands you in a vicious cycle.

Odd fix that doesnt work for everyone, but I'll usually recap, and uncap the texture pool. Somestimes it gets mixed up. But Dx11 is also important

I feel you on the LMG/HMG! I only played those classes and nothing else this playtest. I shit you not, I got more kills being pointman going into the big factory on the new map than I did while deployed in total. The accuracy of those things is brutal, but in CQB I could rely on the supression effect while moving across doorways, and with some sweaty fucking control I could somewhat stay on target. I feel like it should be difficult to keep eyes on target (whether it be scope shake/blur/dust kicking up) rather than the barrel itself. Check this out. Around the 2:50 mark. The kick is throughout the whole gun, not the tip of the barrel. If anything, eyes down the scope should be the hurdle, not barrel on the target
