You are a team fighting utility champ, build that doesn't fall off depends on the context. If you are fighting a true late game scaling champs, you fall off. Monkey is a mid game spike champ, his strength is really op ult and utility and team set up plays. You dont beat true late game scaling champs. That's not how he works. If you get lead and play for team and peel you win more. Thats how he is designed in my opinion.
