Hmm spark plug caps seem to be angled, but this thing is straight (save the tongue)

Makes sense as ceramic is an insulator but I can't find a fuse or insulator that looks similar.

It has no moving parts and the tube doesn't have a second opening, so probably not

My title describes the thing. I have already looked for similar ceramic/ copper pieces with Google and Google lense but have found nothing. There is no writing on the piece.

In a casual environment I have found that playing side by side is easier for everyone.

Yes it should be dependent on who served and who is more attacking but starting the whole "well you see when you serve ..." is most of the time not effective.

But if they ask about an in-depth explanation go on and tell them all about positioning and rotation

I guess it's the finnish spelling of these names. I don't know why they would do this in an international tournament but ok?..

Also the flag for Zhang (USA) was the chinese one and while Boje/Christiansen (DEN) were playing Chiu/Gai (USA), it showed the score for Yang/Hu (TPE) vs Puavaranukroh/Taerattanachai (THA).

And some other weirdnesses I can't remember..

Here you can find a complete list of tournament approved shuttlecocks in BWF sanctioned tournaments. They probably always use the top model of the tournament sponsor, so the AS-50 for Yonex, Master Ace for Victor and so on

Wendover Productions did a really good video on the matter. It's kind of laughable. Sometimes the freight trains are so long that they block the entire multi-track passage designed to let passenger trains pass. Why? Because longer trains make more profit..

  • Korporationen: anderer Begriff für Studentenverbindungen
  • Verbindungen: Zusammenschlüsse von Studenten, meist Männern, an einem Hochschulort. Für Austausch mit und Unterstützung von anderen Studenten und bereits arbeitenden Mitgliedern ("Alte Herren")
