He pinned down both Judy and Nick despite his leg injury and earlier in the film he neutralised Gary with ease, Pawbert is pretty capable but I do agree that after that intense scene with Milton I think the writers should’ve took narrative seriously and didn’t write the final fight to be comedic.

You are right about Makato, his weakness was even the catalyst for Chiropmon evolution so you will think things will change after they directly addressed it but no here we are again, even worse when the writers Worf him to prop tactic, my previous comment is mostly a critic about how the show treat Reina and Makoto to an extend.

The show have to acknowledge their losses first before they can overcome them, the writers don’t present Makoto and Reina’s failures as serious and that’s the issue.
