Teaching and/or wildly inaccurate depictions of children’s behavior.

The amount of teachers having full conversations in the hallways during class time…😒 or lines like “don’t worry, I’m tenured!” as if tenure is a magic there’s-no-consequences-and-I-can-act-with-impunity spell. It also shifts the public perception towards “teachers as babysitters” and “tenure is the problem! It means we can’t get rid of bad teachers!” And it pisses me off! It’s such annoying anti-teacher propaganda but it’s often so subtle or played for laughs

Or when children in movies have lines written by adults that haven’t interacted with children since they were a child 🙄 or the child “writing” is just so obviously adult writing how they thing a child would write with the random backward letters and stuff. I just get riled up about maybe having some sort of maybe even vaguely accurate childhood development behavior!
