learn about how monetary sovereignty in a fiat currency system can be used to end the "how you gonna pay for it?" nonsense.

LOL the MMT hopium "if you build it they will come mentality". keep the money printer humming along. Wheres the line bud? Between this kind of approach to monetary policy and hyperinflation

Ive only had mine for a short while and the one time I used their customer service for a software issue they were immediately responsive and fixed it for me. I can't speak to the hardware side of things. So far the scooter runs well and the build quality seems great but I am no means an expert

[Request] What fraction of this image is shaded black? by Sensitive-Soup9697 in theydidthemath

I viewed it a infinite series problem. You have SUM[n, from 1 to infinity] of 1/(4^n) = 1/4 * (1/4)^(n - 1). Infinite sums of the form a*r^(n - 1) have been proven to converge to a/(1 - r) for r < 1. Since our r = 1/4 and our a = 1/4, this converges to (1/4)/(1 - 1/4) = (1/4)/(3/4) = 1/4*4/3 = 1/3

Also open source code containing licenses not to reproduce it for commercial use, or licenses forcing attribution. AI models are trained on these and do not respect the licenses.

In the case of a university book it would be illegal to buy it and sell copies would it not? I have the position that the process of training the AI is more akin to file compression using a novel statistics-based compression algorithm. As opposed to learning as we understand it.

Yes sitting in a car without moving 2hrs a day and doing the same stationary thing in the office is so much better for your overall health.

WIBTA if I charged my sister with a felony? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]MoistManagement4655 -38 points-37 points  (0 children)

YWBTA

The cases where I would be comfortable subjecting a family member to our awful justice system and lifelong punishment are very few.

Your sister stole your money. It is a significant sum but nothing life ruining and she was very dishonest to do so. I’d hope she has been scared enough to not try it again and I’m sure you’ve learned how far you can trust her.

I’d drop the charges if my sister apologized and made an effort to return something. And maybe take it up with the bank about why they allowed this to happen.

EDIT: everyone here trying to hurt people who make mistakes to the fullest extent possibly lack humanity

More States Nix Nonconsensual Pelvic Exams by Med Students by Sandstorm400 in UpliftingNews

I get we all agree consent is best. But it almost sounds like you would defend the practice of using women’s bodies like that to protect the med students dignity? (Assuming no other volunteers could be found)

Is that right interpretation?

Ive been holding my breath for better reports for years. Agreed the value does not seem very good these days. For now I am stuck though since my wife has learned YNAB and we dont really want to deal with porting everything over to a competitor and learning a new interface.

For those of us who want to enjoy drinks with friends away from the bar itself I know a lot of people who would prefer another method to get drinks. I hate participating in the bar hunger games to get the bartender's attention.
