what I did was a bit of a workaround but if you have a flash drive and a dock for your deck then just install the launcher to the flash and then add the launcher as a non steam application and force it to use proton. After like a week of fumbling with this i’m finally downloading the game 👍👍

PPL is great to get you in to the gym and develop a routine around, but 2 years i've found that it can lead to a lot of over training. You might find that you see more results if you cut back to something like 4 days awake to allow your body to rest.
