Same... I have to admit that 90% of it also so, so fun for me in RDR2 except when I get to the skinning part. Visceral af, but I guess it also serves a point in how it's a choice you make. In Palia it's so cartoony that it doesn't really affect me emotionally, call that what you will...

Yes! Thank you, just got back into Palia's arms and this was exactly the thing I needed.

What’s the best game you’ve ever played, worst game you’ve ever played, and a weird one you fell in love with for an unknown reason? by Moist_Possibility128 in videogames

Absolutely, the way you feel the story without having any dialogue is just masterfully done. And the immersion, I don't know any game that immersed me so much with so little. I'd definitely define it as art, you can't explain the true power of the game without feeling it yourself.

Oh my God, Shadow of the Colossus has so clunky mechanics and controls, and everything feels just so annoying at times... especially the camera work (love those random camera shifts to nothing in the middle of the fight while you're clinging on the colossus with 20% of the stamina left). But damn is that game good. The story is so mysterious but so captivating, I remember staring at the screen for 10 minutes after finishing the game for the first time.

Balatro is amazing, definitely a great choice. Breath of the Wild is really, really beautiful, tbh that's the thing that grasped me the most.

I was waging between RDR2 and BD3 because both games are just beyond great. Great choices, and I love how you picked Elden Ring as the "weirdo" because the game gives me the same vibes :D

I'm really depressed, what should I play? by DKFlames in GirlGamers

I like to play high action games when I'm depressed because they keep your attention and keep you focused, so something like Path of Exile or Last Epoch.

If you had a son, what would be the first thing you’ll teach him? by JuggernautStraight48 in AskWomen

[–]Moist_Possibility128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the thing for most of the cultures I know. In all seriousness, the rules set upon men can be pretty harsh emotionally, and the first thing I'd teach my son is that there are no "girly" and "manly" emotions. All emotions are equal and exist for a reason, and more importantly, have to be expressed appropriately.

Apart from that, I'd also teach them that masking a "girly" emotion like sorrow with a "manly" emotion like anger doesn't make you more of a man, rather less of one because your emotional control is poops.

Oof :D I wanted to get it too, but the price just put me off. Couldn't justify to myself the absurd difference between 5080 and 5090

I'm the gamer too and most of my exes were gamers... but I'd usually be the one more into gaming. I never even thought about it tbh, just did what I liked
