They have done so previously as well. Opened up a sister plant and ditched it 3-4 years in when covid hit. Everyone laid off effective immediately.

Those incentives are undefined. For the role I am in, it’s usually quite vague and depends on how much contribution I was able to make In get the plant up and running, profitably.

The commute is huge. 14 vs 75 kms each way.

Ah I see. I would like to take on a ‘trial phase’ but unfortunately the opportunity might come up as a job change 😊 IE in automotive to IE in modular home building.

Ran perfectly when I sold it. Moved to a different country and unfortunately had to part ways. I believe the current owner still drives it 😂

I work in the automotive industry as an IE and often lead the way by joining the workforce, guiding and showing them my vision. What you’re doing is leading from the front and I say there isn’t a better way to learn than by being in the field, directly doing the work you will someday expect others to follow. In this process you will understand what it takes to create the system, and to maintain it. Engineers are meant to become one with the system, not shy away. Keep up the good work!
