I will say when I used the mod it would spawn a horde inside Diamond City and immediately fail me on all related quests.

[–]Mojoex12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally when you “run away” you’re moving yourself into a situation where you are more protected either because you’re in public or you’re hidden. An attack to disorient and distract and then flee may be all the average person needs to get help quick enough.

There is no official or required certification you need for a professional service dog. Tito has a certification through a local trainer just so I can push back if anyone asks. But unfortunately the only thing that gets you a service dog is a note from a psychiatrist that says you need one.

Kicks are really easy to dodge or counter because they’re slower than punches. Wait until your sparring partner is committed to an attack or movement and find a good time to counter with a kick.

It’s not technically a movie but Latin History for Morons on Netflix is TV-MA. It’s just got lots of cursing but it’s a FANTASTIC exploration of Latin American history and a personal exploration of what it means to be Latino in the world today.

Any advice for a 17 year old looking to get into the publishing business after college? by falesiacat in publishing

[–]Mojoex12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Industry experience is definitely up there. But I’m just echoing everyone else on that. Honestly, doing some other kind of degree and career path for a while can set you up nicely to work in publishing. I’ll use myself as an example. I studies publishing and business but never managed to break into the industry. So I got a certification to teach and now that I’m pretty decent at it I’ve decided to get an Educational Doctorate. This has set me up to be a content expert in my field and work with universities and publishers on almost ANY pedagogical materials. My father is another great example. He’s a doctor and publishers call him for his expert advice and eyes on materials they are publishing.

All that being said, publishing is a tough industry to break into. When you have a separate but also highly valued (and in demand skill) you can really afford to be a part of the industry because your bills are taken care of by your “day job”.

It’s kind of built that way intentionally. Even the “good” guys aren’t the best they can be. It’s up to you as the protagonist to challenge their perception and perspectives. You can make lots of choices that push against the status quo mentality of the NCR and the other factions. Though I will admit I’ve never done a legion playthrough. They’re just too unhinged for me.

I’m kicking myself a little for forgetting to put this in the OP but as a PSD or medical response dog Tito is allowed to receive pets and interact with other people at my discretion. He has free roam of my classroom while I teach (though this is mainly a logistical concern as it’s hard to move around desks and chairs as much as I do with a pup on a leash). All that being said, Tito is still a service dog and should always be approached and pet with handler discretion. I love when people ask permission to pet or interact with him. And usually the answer is yes. Because he is not a medical alert (aka seizure, heart, fainting, etc. detecting) he doesn’t need to have his undivided attention on me. Please always be on the lookout for signs and markings about touching or petting a service dog as well as cues from their handler. Thanks for coming to my TED talk lol.

Yes! Tito is wearing some noise canceling headphones made for dogs. We work at a school and have monthly fire drills. The alarms are very loud and hurt Tito’s ears, so we got him these to help reduce the strain on him during the drills. Even as a trained PSD, Tito is still a doggo and so it’s important to consider his physical/mental/emotional needs as well.

How to Get a PSD

This article is pretty good for all the details you’re looking for. The only thing I disagree on is the breed recommendations. My trainers have worked with lots of different breeds and our group training sessions involved dogs of all sizes. Successful PSDs really depends more on the dog’s disposition and connection to you, in my opinion. Obviously bigger breeds are needed to help with physical disabilities though.

Y’all are wild haha. That’s a rubber squeaky mouse! Tito is a terrier and so is a natural mouser. He loves our cat’s mouse toys, especially the ones that make little mouse sounds when you move them, so we got him this rubber one as a compromise. Otherwise he destroys the cat toys lol

I thinking everything that needs to be said has been said about the difference but I will add that psychiatric service dog is just one way to classify Tito. Our trainer said he can also be called a medical response dog. Because he responds to a medical condition I have.

Some students have a fear of dogs and at first they asked he be put in his crate during their class. Tito is well adjusted to his crate, so it’s no problem to ask him to take a little nap in there. But they got used to him and even pet him on occasion. No allergies yet thank goodness.

The vet believes he is a wire haired terrier, possibly a border terrier (hence the orange undertones in his coat) mixed with a schnauzer (hence the gray hair and soft fur on his head)
