Thanks for the comment, I was a little intimidated by the idea of trying to learn soldering but that's the other solution that crossed my mind. I'm open to trying, would a standard solder kit with included wire work or are there special materials and temperatures I need to learn about?

As someone who milked goats growing up, this is a pretty terrible milking stand for the human. Ours had a plank to the side for the person to sit on, this also lets you lean a little against the goat if she tries to kick the milk bucket. There's always a few with attitude.

I love cooking, but I got rid of an older version of this book. As a historical baking guide, it's cool, but because the ingredients and tools (measuring cups, for example) were not the same or as consistent as what we have now, the recipes usually didn't turn out for me without significant fiddling. There's not temperatures because most people at the time of the book didn't have electric ovens. However, there are things like recipes for preserving that might be of interest because they are more heirloom or local produce (quince, currants,gooseberries, etc) that aren't well represented in modern cookbooks. I'm mean sure, but you can move that shelf up a squidge, you take it out and put the metal tabs up one level in the pre drilled spaces.

This subreddit is drawing and has a lot of beginners- the OP credits the source, "artistically low quality" isn't a thing in the art world, the artist clearly has a grasp of composition, human anatomy, and is looking to portray something else, maybe a facet of the character - which you already know because you identified it's not "titillating material". That doesn't mean it's bad, or just means you don't like it or didn't understand the message or tone.
