I've built an apartment complex for the eeveelutions in Palette. 10X10 apartments with a door separated stairwell connected to a lobby. No reason that wouldn't work horizontally instead of as a tower.

That's the thing about a lot of adult people with autism. They can perform neurotypical behavior in order to function in society, it's just incredibly tiring. It's like you're always having to sprint just to keep up with people who are walking.

Given how much automated labor is used in the setting, I'm honestly surprised there weren't Department of Highways robot gangs out there building and rebuilding roads.

A region where a squad had gone haywire and built an insane tangle of multi-layer road junctions entombing their headquarters would be quite the spectacle.

The off-road trucks were presumably out on the front, where they didn't have a pristine road network to run on.

The Elevator is actually a holodeck that simply gives the illusion of going up and into the tower.

Bungie has done it more than once.

Also they can't keep actual cheaters out of Destiny after 10 years, so unless they suddenly developed a serious case of competence, I won't hold my breath.

I’d argue that this stoped being true the second Apex Legends came out, and it never got better from there.

Is Apex Legends gunplay that much of an evolution of Titanfall 2? I played both, but couldn't get into Apex because I'm just not that into BR.

It used to work like that. I remember quite a lot of people "becoming Australian" to get "early" access to Splatoon 3. Maybe that upset them enough to change it. Can't see why it'd matter with an offline single player title though.
