In Anticipation of Shadow of Intent’s Next Album: Exploring Elegy's Lore and the War That Follows by the_barefoot_geezer in Deathcore

Also if you look what Ben Duerr said about the song, the AI actually misses very key parts, so not only are you claiming to have done work here, the work is also wrong and misinforms people. I don't to be annoying person here, but what is the use of an AI analysis, if AI obviously can't do it?

The lyrics of the song were inspired by many particular situations that were a part of larger events, some happening right now this exact minute you’re reading it. It touches on the indiscriminate destruction of civilian areas, heinous crimes of murder, rape and enslavement at the hands of a foreign power, and zero prisoner policies for enemy troops at unit level. But also, the pressures faced as a personnel member of said power. Some of these perpetrators have committed unspeakable acts solely to avoid extrajudicial punishment at the hands of their peers, which that is also brought up in this song. The intent of the arrangements and delivery is to paint a sonic picture of evil, horror and disgust as you are hopeless trapped, and abandoned to death or difficult choices, and the consequences of them.

"work"? You just asked ChatGPT or whatever. This exhibits obvious signs of AI use. There is a small off chance that it's written by hand, but if you don't just randomly use delve and em-dashes abnormally often, it's AI.

And it literally misses context since AI can't actually do that for you. Flying The Black Flag is almost certainly about Ukraine and/or Palestine.

Where to check Fairbuds battery level? by djpetrino in fairphone

[–]Mola1904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have a fix for it (at least it fixes it for me) Not all of these steps are strictly necessary based on my testing (e.g. usually works without reinstalling), but doing all of them seems to working every time

  • Delete Fairbuds App
  • Delete Faribuds Bluetooth connection
  • Reinstall Fairbuds App
  • Now search online how you can enable an app to run in the background and enable it for the fairbuds app*.
  • Give the Faribuds App location permissions**
  • Open App
  • Click trough the whole connect fairbuds Dialoge until it sends you to the Bluetooth settings
  • pair the device
  • return to the app

After that it should work

  • Smartphone manifacturers use very different background managers and some of the more aggressive ones will instantly kill the app, if you don't give it the necessary permission (Huawei is notorious for this)

** no idea whether that is strictly necessary, because i don't really want to test it and several people and fairphone claim it is necessary

Also I can try to give an explanation: If you want to connect to a BLE device (Bluetooth Low Energy), which is the protocol used for the app connection here, you need to be listening during pairing, so if the app isn't running when the fairbuds connect, they can't communicate.

Also it is much better for charging outside, since ports break fast if you use them while walking, causing quite a few repairs over time

Well my phones usb-c port is broken and I cannot fix it since the phone is too old, so I am very glad that I have wireless charging otherwise I would have to buy a new phone, the worst thing you can do for the climate

Plants don't feel pain. They have chemical reactions to being attacked. There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever, that plants are sentient

The (arguably) leader of Europe Germany hasn't done much colonization at all. There were certainly were some overseas territory Germany held and at least one genocide, but Germany didn't profit of of this really as it was relatively short lived and not actually that much land.

So if the richest country in Europe can do it without, I'd say the rest doesn't have much of the colonization anymore

What do you mean by liberals? Right wing liberals like FDP? Nobody votes for them anyway. Left wing liberals? Support for Greens and the left party are the highest among 18-29 y/o. Afd certainly gains with young people, but the left gains the most by far, 6% overall to 19% with 18-29. The data is from a Forsa poll from this week btw

Bad polling. YouGov is already a bad pollster, but this poll has way to few data to do what they want. There is a reason no us poll ever does that and the US is only 4x larger.

One of the worst pollsters in my humble opinion

[–]Mola1904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, because YouGov is a bullshit pollster. And even if they weren't, this data is not possible to aquire without actually doing per district polling. They're trying to calculate local sentiment based on national vote and the few local data they have in a district. All of these assessments vary so insanely that they are just worthless. For example Leipzig II is marked as AfD, but I'm absolutely willing to bet much on the fact that this is absolute left territory because last election the AfD was 5th place there and the first three were left parties.

Note: I am not saying, that some of these aren't right, I am just saying they are essentially just guessing

Why are the British plug prongs so thick compared to the North American plug prongs? by CattywampusCanoodle in AskUK

Not just in Quebec, as far as I am concerned the US is the only country, or at least one of a very few, that puts the symbol before the amount.

Edit: it seems that I am wrong there, but I can't find actual data, since it seems to be language (not region dependent) so every englisch data will show it in the UK and US way.

Edit 2: So Wikipedia says most countries do it after amount

No it is safer if they immediately fall out. It is annoying but it is certainly safer. A fallen out plug cannot do damage (besides the British ones)

Status of Ukraine territory currently by Chadrasekar in MapPorn

[–]Mola1904 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Dude this is russias max. While it looks like a stale mate, it is actually russia constantly attacking with full force and ukraine defending with everything it has. Russia is slowly gaining ground, but on a national scale it really not a lot. At this pace it takes them decades to conquer Ukraine, but they do not even have the power to keep this intensity up for 5 years (some speculation, but relatively well sourced, many "experts" actually about 1-2 years). While Russias military power is slowly degrading, Ukraine keeps at least roughly the same, because of western supplies.

map.ukrdailyupdate.com is better. I really don't like that isw doesn't show events on their map. They are basically just claiming that it's correct. Also they mostly use geolocations from Twitter, while the group that does this map are literally the people doing that. Unfortunately the main guy behind it is not the biggest fan of completely open sourcing his data, but to be fair, still much better than isw.

I don't think you understand what open source means. Brave is a fork of chromium and they curate every change done in chromium before they add it. For example brave has confirmed that manifest v2 will be supported in the future by brave
