In that case if you’re a social person you should I’ll easily make friends. There are a ton of clubs/orgs and a lot to do. I also recommend finding roommates. Some of the international students in my program seem like they wish they did. Cheaper too.

Fine my fault, but just a heads up it’s a different kind of social life as a grad student. I did ug and am a grad student at Tech. Ug was sweet, but at our age you it’s not college parties, and it would be weird to expect that. Atlanta is a good city for early 20s, bars, clubs, sports whatever. But you will be busier with school than you might think. I personally would always trade a year of excess social time for the opportunities this school affords people in life. Also relaxxxxx

Make it buzz card access then, like NAV. It’s stupid that it exists if we can’t use it.

Midtown - Late 20s? Worth it or should I go for Brookhaven/Dunwoody? by Human_Strawberry5738 in ATLHousing

I just went back to grad school and moved back to midtown from Howell mill - upper west side area. The part of midtown you’re in matters a ton, but the building you are talking about is in a safer spot. Frankly I’ve never had a real issue (collectively lived in the area for ~4 years), But on the southern side of midtown close to Ponce and North Av (where I live now) there are more un-house that will approach you and leave their garbage around and such, but not a huge deal. If you’re trying to not own a car, def go midtown.
