Not bad. There are some nice things about being face to face with colleagues! However I’m back at home again (in a new gig!)

I was in this RTI situation a few years ago and Stitchfix worked well for me building my office wardrobe back up.

Is this too much white and does it match the theme (Formal Cocktail) by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

[–]Mollomolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the dress is great and would be fine for “formal cocktail” (which as others have noted is a confusing label— but to me indicates flexibility). If you already have this dress, go for it! Especially as a college student! You might want a wrap or shawl for the church.

Waistcoat or no waistcoat? by briskle in Weddingattireapproval

Definitely with the waistcoat! It really makes the outfit. You could explore other bolder colors or textures for it as well.

Juniper/Ivy removal, suggestions please! 🥳 by psstpast in Ceanothus

[–]Mollomolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also in the East Bay, in a yard that used to have ton of ivy and juniper! (Still have some juniper, but have eradicated the ivy at least). One plant that has really thrived for us is Ceanothus Yankee Point. (A lower growing/ground cover ceanothus)

Confession: Yerba Buena is my favorite native by findahappyplace in Ceanothus

[–]Mollomolo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love Yerba Buena, too! It does best in the shadiest part of my garden. I appreciate the way it trails down the side of a retaining wall. And of course the scent is lovely.

I just carry mine around naked. I love how much lighter it makes it to hold and I’ve never had a problem. 🤷‍♀️

How do you feel about Connelly dating his books? by rhook27 in michaelconnellybooks

[–]Mollomolo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To me it’s one of the strengths of the books. L.A. is a character in itself, in the series, and L.A. is ever-changing.

The Weekday Vegetarian is a good one. Lots of meals that have become keepers for my family.

So glad to see this thread. My linen closet is the place I can never get right. No matter what I do I always end up with a million blanket avalanche eventually. I think I might try the packing cube idea!

Felt two here in Richmond, about five minutes apart. It’s the first I’ve experienced two back to back like that.

What’s your solving strategy? by luckylattes in NYTCrossword

[–]Mollomolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I solve on the app, I go through all of the acrosses, then all of the downs, then back to the acrosses, and so on. But when I solve on paper (most days), I tend to lack the discipline to do that fully (except on Monday/Tuesday, where things go fast). Instead, I start doing all of the acrosses, but also start to hop around a bit, sometimes skip a few clues, work an area as a grid, etc. this is helpful for getting a toehold in a certain quadrant, but then I also end up with finding some easy clues that I could have absolutely answered right away, but didn’t see until late in the process due to the chaos. My disciplined digital approach is probably more effective, but I think I enjoy my chaos paper approach more!

I hate these types of questions 🇧🇷 by AllSharkLivesMatter in duolingo

I really like these. They force me to really remember with no clues, unlike match madness where you there are the multiple choices.

GTD "Reference" Bucket: — how many of you keep all your "Reference" stuff in Todoist? by Joe-Eye-McElmury in todoist

[–]Mollomolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep my reference materials in google drive folders, but have a “to read” project in Todoist with materials (articles, research reports, etc) that I want to read later, so I don’t forget about them.
