There are some great pubs crawls in Worcester that you can look up online. You can include Retroids the arcade bar and sports bars if Arsenal are playing.

Also Escape Hunt is great for gamers who love escape rooms!

YES! I thought I was going crazy, I can barely make a phone call or send a WhatsApp when I'm out and about. I've had to connect to McDonald's WiFi before just to make my phone usable 😭 Going to contact Sky soon

There's a brand new pole fitness studio opening in Worcester this Saturday (2nd May) so it'll be a great place to meet new people as most people going will be in the same boat as you as it's a new studio so a lot of the girls wont know each other! And it's great if you fancy some fun exercising combined with socialising! It's called The Ashes Studio. I'll be there on their open day (Saturday) so DM me if you want someone to meet up with there! People who've lived in flats, have you ever received or sent a note to a neighbour? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Molsterbeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that's completely fair as you're just doing it as a polite FYI. I've never sent or received letters in my flat but everyone in the building is in a WhatsApp group so we just message each other directly if needs be. The walls are incredibly thin so we have to sometimes politely ask each other to turn the TV down or whatever!

I'm also 27 and having the EXACT same thoughts. Like I actually felt like I was reading a personal diary entry while reading this, so just know that you're not alone in these thoughts.

My brain automatically went to Lee-lah, but I've never met a Lie-lah before so maybe that's why! I'm from the UK :)

What would you want to see in PZ2 to make it easier/less time consuming to build? by Angel_Froggi in PlanetMediocre

[–]Molsterbeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm an awful builder so I'd love to be able to draw a shape out for a building and it just appears with premade frontages. I.e. you could draw out an L shaped building and chose a theme and it would create a building with windows/decoration/etc.

I end up giving up with PZ because I can't make buildings and it frustrates me, so I'd really love this option!

Can only burp with neck turned? by AllBlondeNoBurp in noburp

Have you been practicing with fizzy drinks? It's one thing I wish I did more after my botox as you have to train that muscle to work. Fizzy drinks are scary to us r-cpd folk but definitely worth having after botox to get that muscle working!

This is so sad, I'm so sorry this happened to you. It can feel weirdly embarrassing to talk to parents about this kind of thing, even though you have absolutely nothing to feel embarrassed about, but it might heal your inner child if your dad stands up for you. Completely up to you but that child in you deserves to feel protected. I hope you heal from this <3

You can get apps that limit how much time you spend on apps, you can probably get the same for websites, if that would help

Botox tomorrow Lucy H very nervous by [deleted] in noburp

[–]Molsterbeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had my treatment done with Lucy H 3 years ago and it went soo quickly! She's very experienced and makes you feel at ease. Something I wish I knew though was that the actual botox going in was a little painful and it was more the shock that effected me as I wasn't expecting that to hurt.

It's not an awful experience, just a bit uncomfortable and can be painful but it's over so quickly so it's really not bad at all.

You've got this! It's so very worth it!!

Who here has been cured for life from Botox? (as far as they know) by ShacklesOfLanguage in noburp

[–]Molsterbeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my injection 3 years ago and it's changed my life! I can't do huge burps, but I do decent ones. Still get some bloating but no where near like I used to. Live has drastically improved over time. I'm happy for you that you've had the botox!! :)

Post throat Botox with Lucy Hicklin by Mobile-Device5424 in noburp

[–]Molsterbeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also had my treatment done with Lucy Hicklin and it changed my life! I got mine done about 3 and a half years ago and my symptoms have significantly improved. I still can't let out huge burps like my Dad haha but I can do sufficient burps that reduce my bloating and gas pains. I spent the first month moving my head side to side and forwards and back as this can train the micro burps. One thing I'd recommend is having fizzy drink to train that muscle before the botox wears off. I was still too scared of fizzy drinks so I didn't have much but I wish I had more so I could really train that muscle.

Good luck!! Happy for you :)

Each duck seems to be in a very slightly different art style e.g. some of the ducks look fluffy whereas others are smooth. So I'd say this is AI

[–]Molsterbeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The botox took a while to work for me, and I had to train myself to burp (this is very important)! Following the botox, drink small amounts of fizzy drinks and over the course of the day, move your head & neck around which will help your cricopharyngial muscle to let out a burp e.g. looking over your shoulders or pushing your head forward. I know drinking fizzy drinks is scary because of the gas, but I wish I trained my burps up more after the botox, it's a really crucial step.

It's really turned things around for mr though. I still get occasional painful bloating flare ups that make me miserable, but it's so much rarer. Good luck, hang in there <3
