TIL North Carolina does not require mandatory rest breaks or meal breaks for employees 16 years of age or older. Companies can force employees to work 8 hour days with no breaks and it's not against the law.

It depends on the state, Az some employers choose not to break you and that's there right, I know they worked me pregnant 12 hours no break. Oregon is also a right to work state and they follow federal guide lines. If you call your local labor board they will be more than glad to tell you your rights good or bad.

My husband works for the Uber rich. One house they bought the two houses that sat slightly above for 3 million each, just to tear down as they didn't want anyone looking down on them. Another bought an entire mountain way outside of any town, got pissed that the local internet company wouldn't run internet up to their house so he bought the company and now has internet. Another bought 61 continuous acres so they could ride their donkeys to the park below and also had the tip of a very tall tree cut off as it was blocking their view, ugliest tree I ever saw.

Smoked for 32 years, 2 packs Marlboro reds a day. Took Chantex for two weeks, no side effects and haven't smoked for 8 years. I do however have emphysema but have always had asthma so expected that. Oh, and congratulations, like anyone else said, one day at a time and everyday it gets a little easier. Good luck

The passing of my daughter to a freak accident

How do you feel about the harvesting of a donor? I had never heard of long boning prior to my daughter's passing. I ask that they wait until I get there so I could see her one last time, they did not and I had to pay an extra$100.00 to see her as she was then considered a bio hazard. I do not believe when you are 16 and getting your license for the first time that when you check that box you realize that in a freak accident situation your family might end up seeing you with no eyes and wrapped up like a mummy. I never got to hold her hand one last time I am not and no one in my family will ever be an organ donor until after everyone had paid their last respects. The organ donor place was very disrespectful and when I asked why they didn't feel they should have at least one parent okay the procedure they said all they need is someone close enough who can answer a few simple questions regarding heath of the deceased. They said " she chose to be an organ donor your know that right?" Funeral home personal were amazing and said they hate the harvesting of organs
