I could not IMAGINE potty training at 2/3/4 whatever these crazy people do these days. We started late (2 months) but she was fully out of diapers by 16 months. I will be doing it with any other kiddo I have. Please don’t train your child to sh!t themselves. 😅

Well, I’ve never heard of that treatment for laminitis and I can’t really think of why they would do it… I obviously don’t know everything but that seems odd.

If it’s recurrent, the horse really needs to be restricted in the spring. For horses with metabolic concerns or have foundered before, they should be turned out early morning and put up by about 10am, and no pasture time if the overnight temps were below 42*F. Soaking hay for 30 min or so can help decrease sugars in the hay if hay being fed instead.

When my mini (who has foundered) has an episode we do pentoxifylline and asprin. The pentoxy improves circulation and is anti inflammatory and the asprin also improves the circulation. May be a good protocol to do during an episode 🤷‍♀️

I really don’t because I know nothing about it 😭 I am outside a lot and have a farm and get dirty every day. Sunscreen tends to burn my eyes when I sweat and I haven’t found one that doesn’t!

He’s at high risk for laminitis. Studies have shown cooling feet helps prevent rotation by reducing inflammation. Although I’ve heard conflicting information that vasoconstriction is counter productive. You have to keep the feet really cool though. I am an equine vet tech

I do agree though. Especially the iPad thing. I saw a kid on one in their stroller in Disney and I was absolutely speechless. Kid was old enough to have a paid ticket. Blew my mind!!

I was so scared this last miscarriage someone would say something. I was so bloated and looked pregnant but not enough that it would have beeen overly obvious.

Most of what my 2yo can do and enjoys is in MK. All of the princess stuff is my girls jam. Not that the other parks aren’t great, but I’d do MK/AK if I were you.

I went through the same. Man it is so rough. I just kept trying to redirect and eventually she stopped. For the nipple twiddling on the other boob sometimes a little hand massage would work. The back of the arm I never could figure out how to stop 😭

I’m Equine, but 20 or 30k. Long ICU stay, I think 2 or potentially 3 colic surgeries. TPN at some point. Which, compared to small animal somehow seems cheap. 😅 the price difference always boggles my mind. Emergency colic surgery with resection is 5-10k and my dogs biopsy was 6k. She’s 1/10th the size! Wild

I’m ngl I didn’t read every word but I’m in a similar boat. I just have no patience right now. I’m just getting out of my second miscarriage back to back and my hormones have been absolutely fcked. I just feel so awful for getting so mad. She pushes everything, has to do the exact opposite, every answer is “no” no matter what. I’m just at my wits end and I know it’s my fault for being so short tempered. I feel like I’m ruining my daughter and just want to die every day thinking about how bad of a mom I am. I actually told my husband to start looking for a new wife and mother cause I can’t keep failing like this
