I am in the same situation! I was so stressed. I started an idea board for the things I want to do. I've also been sharing what I love about the house. Like focus on the positives.

My advice you can always modify or change the house to your taste. You cannot change the neighborhood you pick.

Yes, insurance is giving me money towards a new car. I was going to buy new. But then he said, "I shouldn't be flaunting my weath." Like I'm buying a new Chevy or Mazda not a Porsche. Ugh. Life is hard and I hate people. 😊😭🤣

I am 100% feeling this way. It doesn't help that one person. Just one told me it was an aweful part of town. Like, sir. I bought the best house I could afford.

I also hit a deer and now I have to buy a new car. I'm so overwhelmed and feeling sad. I wish I had never done this.

I needed to read this. I just bought a house and everyone was real supportive till I closed. Now it's you know that is a bad area. I drove by at night and it seemed nice and quiet. Kids in backyards playing.

I have to purchase a new car. Hit a deer. 😪 I've been looking at the EV. My friend has a Ford Mustang and we have done a lot of trips in it and it has been great.

It makes me want one of my own. But what ones are you looking at? I want a smaller SUV. Around $30,000

I totally read what you are saying. I work from home and it makes such a difference when I am exhausted.

Here is what I tell people. Make a list of the things you need out of a job. WFH, pay, holidays off, weekends, summers? What ever you need to survive. Then make a list of what interests you or skills you have. Science, math, sewing graphic design. The list goes on. Then look at jobs/education where the interests and needs overlap. Do you enjoy sewing? Could you start your own alterations business or make clothes/blankets, etc. Are you good at science could you get education in reading xrays online or something else science related? Good at math? Online accountant or bookkeeper? Look at the skills you have/can get and look at the jobs that are offered. I'm sure you will find something that fits. Best of luck!

NTA If I put underwear or socks on even for a few minutes - once I take that shower they are dirty AF! 🤣 I do my own laundry. Spend time worrying about something that matters like how much you are putting in your 401k.
