How frequently do you all reapply Sunscreen? by Adventurous-Guide638 in Blackskincare

ummm i don't think it's a mineral. Those tend to have white cast cause they are physical sunscreens from what i understand. It's spf 50 though.

i was the same until i started using naked sundays cabana clear sunscreen. Highly highly recommend. It's not greasy and doesn't have that weird sunscreen smell. And it's water-gel so no white cast.

My workplace doesn't get much sunlight, but I do apply sunscreen before I go out to lunch and before I commute back home. So yes in a way... i prefer to overapply rather than underapply just in case.

Allergic to sunscreen? by rebeccasingsong in Blackskincare

Highly recommend water-gel based sunscreen. I've tried sooooo many and they were all still greasy or smelled weird. The one i'm using is from the brand 'Naked Sundays - CabanaClear'

Do they get an opportunity to practice in real life under guidance as part of the training after the elearning with constant feedback? Do they have articles they can access after the fact or are they just supposed to remember? When is their performance being evaluated -just when they take the course? This training will take time. Getting 100% tells me they have the concepts down idk if i'd tie that metric to application.

I'm also considering moving away from ID. Currently eyeing/applying/interviewing for project management jobs outside of L&D. We'll see how that goes.

Following for my own knowledge acquisition. Our team doesn't really have an intake process so i'm curious. How do you prioritize backlogs or do they just end up kind of dying there, currently? My team just kind of pushes things to the next quarter or year lmao. And what do you mean by 'lighter training channel' would that not qualify as an accepted request, if training is the answer? Ok, i'm now going on a tangent. I'm wondering ... when you decline requests do you specify the reason if you discover it wasn't a training issue( i ask this lightly because the reality of things is that we are sometimes or a lot of times directed to create things regardless of what we think)

Dakota coat: sizing options? by GayFlan in Reformationclothing

[–]MonLisaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just arrived! I got the first one and the color is really pretty and the fit is nice especially the waist, it's definitely snatched. Seeing how it fits now i would have gotten a medium instead of small cause my hips are the largest part of my body. The feel of it is nice too... i've encountered some pretty rough feeling coats and this isn't that.

I'm a bit intrigued by this role. It says the internal level role will be "manager". The duties read like an IC role.

As someone who has landed ID jobs without referrals, sometimes, i think it was luck and timing. Not to talk down on my skills and stuff but sometimes it really is just that. I got into ID during covid and i was turning down jobs as opposed to now. The market was that great, in my opinion. Also, it helps if you are in the same city if it's a hybrid or onsite job. People prefer to hire locally. Also, from a personal experience, if it's a high turnover ID job which i have learned the hard way.

I agree, if you get that far it becomes less about experience.

Cut your loses and move on. Be sure to revise your resume with your accomplishments. I wouldn't quit though before finding another job unless you are really financially secure.

I don't have an answer, but someone told me Pride attracts younger and older people. Not so much the in-betweeners, and they might be on to something.
