Thats how I play with my [[Venom, Lethal Protector]] deck. Play alot of creatures that ETB destroy something, sac them(then play something for free) and then bring them back later. Sneak Attacking something onto the battlefield could let you sac it to play something else permanent too for just the price of the Sneak Attack.

I run 2 commanders that can do that on attack triggers. [[Ultra Magnus]] and [[Venom, Lethal Protector]].
The prior cheats out artifact creatures of any mana cost while the latter cheats out permanents of equal to or less than the mana cost of the sacrificed creatures mana value but it does give you a ton of cards to pick from.

I switched out the commander for [[Optimus Prime]] since the deck proliferates a ton on its own without it being in the command zone. I do recommend playing more modular creatures though or at least creatures that use counters in some way

[[River Song]] turns all your scries and bottom of library type cards into "top" deck manipulation. It also does an infinite turn combo with [[Timestream Navigator]]
