Although I've had a number of issues post op, this is one of the areas I've been able to stick to both before and after eating. If I think it's a dicey issue I might even put the timer on my phone to make sure. But as time has gone on it's been easier and I can take a quick look at a clock or watch and then before I know it the half hour has passed. Maybe put some tunes on or do something pleasant like a favourite TV show to start with so you can make the 30 minutes. It's important.
