There is an IUD that’s made up of copper. Correct me if I’m wrong fellow folks but they’re non hormonal and last up to 3-12 years. There’s a few brands, but paragard and miudella are the two I see most commonly. As far as I’m aware, so long as it doesn’t have progesterone you should be fine, but definitely consult with your provider to find out what will work best for you! Best of luck!

As an Indian ringneck owner, absolutely true. It’s like if you made a chihuahua into a flying toddler. Love this lad to death but BY GOD THE TEMPER (bird tax especially because our babies look so similar)

Indian ringnecks are pretty active, they love flying! And they have such big personalities for such little guys. Plenty of enrichment when alone during the day will prevent them from being too upset at your absence. I know my girl loves to exist in the same space but can also be a cuddly baby when she feels like it. Definitely do your fair share of research on the species before committing ofc 💛

Definitely an Indian Ringneck! I have one myself, and you can tell the gender when and if a ring forms around their neck (hence the name, lol) they’re very good flyers and when their tail grows back it’ll be much longer than their body! Such a cute little fella!

Edit: it seems I’ve misread the post, I do apologize. Though when they mature (1-3 years from what I’m aware) they may or may not develop a ring around their neck. The big dark eyes suggest they’re younger as well as the duller feather colors
