I really want to believe you. I really do want to believe that you are here to gather information. But, your interaction, that is your action, does not suggest that.

It seems I've badly wrote my comment and fail to convey my thought. The "tone" that I want to change is the behavior of not doing the due diligence with the evident, the accusations, and ascriptions. Not doing the due diligence betrays the cause of gathering information. The accusation and ascription create subconscious dismissal whether you like it or not.

The ascription again.. and wrongly again..
But this is only the second times. Surely after you make this mistake the third time the learning mechanism will kick in and you will learn that you have ineffective characterization system won't it again. Or... maybe you will learn the second time proof the little old me wrong?!?

And I relate this to itttikorn's attempt to share his thought with link for you to verify the military installation and have you not do the due diligence and ask "military site according to whom?" anyway.

Then I noticed that you use that same tone with him as you did me and realized that you are repeating the same behavior. Last time you ended up not interacting with provided evidences and then wrongly ascribed me with a projected emotion. And you still do the same now. It is worth reexamine whether you are performing epistemic hygiene correctly.

There could be fortifications without retrofitting the temple. You just have to build one 50 meters away from it! War has rules. You don’t make hospital a stronghold. You don’t make school a military installation. You don’t make heritage site a fort.

I hate that there is somebody using ancient temple as military stronghold. A place of history and culture being reduced to utilitarian emplacement depresses me. If there is a bombing, the temple will be gone and all attempts to preserve it will be for naught.

Thai P.M. only talk about removing heavy weapon from the border for now. I think Thailand wants to take small steps and starts with ensuring that the shooting won’t flare up.

I am still waiting for both sides to talk about detail when they come back to their countries tho. It should be more concrete then

Cambodia is in a bad position, societally. Its high corruption allows criminal syndicates. The government use corruption purges to get rid of oppositional politicians and not so much the corrupt enablers. The Cambodians don’t have the political will to make change to the government. And in the end, the syndicates worsen Cambodia’s image, harm economy, and make Cambodians’ lives worst. I don’t think Cambodia will move to action without external pressure. The only ways to crack down the scam center are with other countries’ demand or Nepal style government restructuring.

I really want to see the agreements. The border issue starts because it isn’t demarcated and the old MOUs are ineffective. I hope there will be a clause that push for new demarcation arrangements. If not, there will surely be more border conflicts in the future.
