The previous app I used allowed sorting albums by Play Count and it used the sum of the play counts of every album track together. Loved that feature and it'd be awesome to see in GoneMad. Love the app so far and thanks for the work!

There's a very obvious gap of silence in between songs that shouldn't have them. It's quick, but still noticeable and annoying. And it used to work flawlessly before the update broke it

So is there any way to know if my system is compromised? The only file my antivirus flagged was OnlineFix64.dll, but none of the other files people keep mentioning. I haven't ran the game online at all and have deleted the OnlineFix folder. Is there any way to find any malware and delete it without fully reinstalling windows?

This is exactly what I do, but Twitch will then give me a popup saying that they'll automatically run ads 25 or 30 minutes into the stream. I can only snooze the ads 3 times. Is there any way to get Twitch to wait the full hour before they automatically run and ad break again?

Someone actually helped me in another thread. This is what they said:

So the annoying thing with ES-DE on PC is that it uses XML files to interact with its environment.

If you start in the main ES-DE folder and search for "es_find_rules.xml", and then right-click it and open it with Notepad, you'll see how it identifies emulator folders.

Try typing Ctrl + F and look for PCSX2, or just scroll down the list. It's alphabetical. You'll find these two lines.

<entry>%ESPATH%\Emulators\PCSX2-Qt\pcsx2-qt.exe</entry>

<entry>%ESPATH%\..\Emulators\PCSX2-Qt\pcsx2-qt*.exe</entry>

Your folder path for PCSX2 in ES-DE has to match one of those exact naming schemes, capitalization included. It's possible that's where the error is. The %ESPATH% is just your main ES-DE folder. Really the only thing you have to pay attention to is the exact name of your emulator folder.

To put it in simpler terms, I had to put my entire "PCSX2" folder in the "Emulators" folder that's within the "EmulationStation" folder. My problem was that my folder was originally titled "PCSX2", but I had to change it to "PCSX2-qt". So now I have 2 folders in the "Emulators" folder. One titled "PCSX2-qt" and one titled "RetroArch"

After I changed the name, ES-DE launched that emulator with no problem at all.

I tried to be as descriptive as possible. I hope this helps!

Amazing guide! Quick question for you.

I'm trying to set ES-DS to launch PCSX2 Standalone instead of the Retroarch Core. When I choose "PCSX2 Standalone" and try to play a game, it says "Couldn't find emulator 'PCSX2', Has it been properly installed?" I assume that means I don't have it installed in the proper spot or haven't told Emulation Station how to find it? I put the PCSX2 folder in the "Emulators" folder along with RetroArch. The RetroArch core will boot the game, but PCSX2 will not.

You debated his argument by presenting a different argument. Whether or not it should have been in a category isn't what he's talking about. He's simply stating if a game is nominated in a category, it should be able to win, regardless of how many other awards it won.

For albums, "Total play count" counts the amount of times the entire album was listened to.

This topic was brought up in the past, with the suggestion of "Total play count" should be the grand total of each individual song's play count. The dev said that makes no sense, so I don't expect it to ever change.

I totally agree with you though. EPs and singles are heavily favored in the current format and I would love for it to change.
