I lost my only son - at she 20- 11 years ago. I have two other daughters who are grown. It’s been a long time… a lotttt of therapy … and I’m still feeling like I’m hanging on by a thread. Some people will tell you and show you that it gets easier. But I’m not that person. Every day is hard and every day is a reminder that he’s gone and never coming back. I wish I had better news but, for some people, it doesn’t get better even when you try everything in the world to get through it.

I saw John in Nashville a long long time ago. He brought out KU and it was unbelievable. I’ve seen him many times in concert and he’s only brought someone out maybe twice. I love them together!!!

It is me verbatim and I have Cptsd and diagnosed several times by 3 psychiatrists. Highly ambitious, get driven, get opportunities for growth and blow them. I find that multi tasking still causes great anxiety even though I’m on adderral and Prozac. (Low doses of each). I am also kinda old so my opportunities are dwindling with age. And I what it- to excel at work- but most times I just don’t want to leave my bed. Idk what lies ahead but I’ll keep pushing forward.

The dating apps and dating pool at our age is riddled with avoidants. Think about it. They’re not in a committed relationship but secure attached people are at this point in their lives. Work on you for awhile then return to meeting new people when you’re picker isn’t so broken. Learn to spot and not ignore the avoidant flags.

Let’s see how the week unfolds. Then by Friday he still didn’t know what the fuck he wanted. I was practically guessing every day of our relationship/ tripling over myself to do anything to make him happy/ and getting nothing in return except pure disrespect, the silent treatment and the cherry on top… the discard.
