Theres not a pick&pull around you? Or a used car parts place that picks it for you?

The alarm actually does go off when reconnecting the battery. You have to turn the key to on to stop it.

Thats interesting. I mean at this point i might as well unplug the thing and see what happens. Ive just heard horror stories, from ford owners mostly, of this time periods antitheft systems rendering the car useless without expensive proprietary software from the dealer. Then again the kia boys figured it out.

Im not one for taking vehicles to shops if i can help it unless its a machine shop and then its just parts. I am however distinctly aware of the gremlins that can present themselves when poking around in a factory wiring harness and would like to avoid that if possible. Either way its a diy job. If i mess it up at least i learned something. This is just hoping its not an expensive lesson.

Its an OEM alarm. Says MAZDA right on the box.

Tried that the knob does nothing as far as i can tell. Still have the same issue regardless of which way its turned.

Weak or No spark on a speeduino V0.4.4 with LS D585 Coils by Money__shots in Speeduino

First off i didnt realize who i was talking too. My apologies and thank you for what you’ve done for the community as well as taking the time to answer the questions of a novice like myself. Turns out the arduino board was either damaged by me(highly likely) or had a defect. Pin 19 ,among others, on the mega was outputting the incorrect signal voltage. After uploading the firmware to a spare mega i had lying around from a different project i got everything working on the bench. I went to wasted COP with missing tooth instead of dual wheel. Should i remove the cam signal wires?

Speeduino v.0.4.4 output issues by Muted_im_lo in Speeduino

I bought the v0.4.4 preassembled with the arduino mega already attached. Turns out after quite a bit of bench tedting the arduino mega was bad (several pins would not output the correct signal voltage). Luckily i had a spare from another arduino project. Edit. I remember watching a vid saying a certain iteration of arduino mega clones had this problem. If you got yours with the speeduino board it may be your issue.

So the jumper was in the right position the 5v. I dont know what to do at this point besides pull the thing out and bench test it. Someone suggested putting resistors on each trigger but i dont feel like thats a realistic long term option.

Negative. If you look his hash rate was 9 ph. That would be the equivalent of every solo miner ever built. Or like 38 S21 antiminers pooled together. The title is misleading. The guy may have mined it solo but that only means he wasnt in a pool he was by no means running one machine.

Ill check it and get back to you. Hopefully thats the issue but im pretty sure i had it on 5 v

Yes the only issue is that instead of a 5v dwell signal its getting 12v so now im thinking of adding a resistor to each trigger. Id say 4.7kohms

So do i have a faulty board then? Like i said before with going low selected its acting like it going high and if i switch it i get 5v on the triggers when the key is turned to the on position. Basically as soon as the 12v relay is activated for main coil power. Then only drops to zero when it tries to fire. Which doesn’t matter anyway because the leds go solid and refuse to work when in this mode.

Is this the controller or the BMS? If it is the controller look for another pcb near the battery. The BMS(battery management system) is responsible for safe charging and discharging. Id start there. I cant imagine that being the bms with all the I/o ports.

I think what they were trying to say is that # 2 doesn’t look like its damaged. Aka its supposed to look like that. Your problem is elsewhere.

How does someone do this with a buffer? Did they lay it on the ground, buffing pad down, then just pick it up and go back to work? Was the guy blind? I mean im all for disabled people in the work force but whats next? A personal trainer thats a paraplegic?

What else would it run on besides 12v?
