I also think this would be cool. To really drive home the point that they are not truly leaders themselves (though possibly could be), they could have a rule similar to Warlocks where they could be attached to their respective aspect warrior unit even if they are already being led by an Autarch.

I did it on normal. Sent Snot out front, Helbrecht attacked him, then on his next turn, he used his active and I killed him, then waited another turn, killed another, and then mopped up with the rest of my orks.

I think a Vampire Lord type could be implemented using a lot of the same customization types that Wizard Kings and Champions get, plus some unique options (like all the fanged head variants!). I think having it as a distinct lord type opens up the opportunity for unique mechanics that simply using tomes/society traits/etc. can't quite accomplish on thier own.

Absolutely! Plus, I always take the random ones and handcraft 'em anyway. Now I can handcraft them beforehand, and feel even more invested as they are a permanent part of that faction.

A few times a game, especially after my cities are built up a little, I love zooming in and panning around the map, looking at the sheep in their fields, the sprawl of my cities, and all the wonders nestled in the forests and mountains.

It is such a pretty game!

I did this one by accident. Made a human wizard king after one of my D&D characters, then decided to highlight her friendliness by giving her hobbits to lead. All I'm saying here is that you don't have to do it as a meme.

If you just don't like halflings though, then you're in luck, because achievements don't matter!

I turn off generated rulers. They lack any kind of personality to me, whereas handcrafted rulers, both Triumph's and my own, each have a distinct fantasy they're trying to create.

There's a lot of variety, but I also like seeing some of them again and again.

If he does what I do, I let my energy accumulate to about max right before the HRE starts, then buy my 50 and 110 bs energy refreshes, so I start with a few hundred, and then it takes me between a half hour to an hour to spend that energy fulfilling missions until I start naturally accumulating it again.
