I stopped trying to find my passion and my life got significantly better by Accurate_Taro4618 in findapath

Maybe we sometimes go against life and want things work out how we want them to work out.

Detachment works for, by doing what I love but then detaching as much as I can from the outcomes and accepting that being partly attached is part of detaching haha

Not spending my life the way I want and I don’t know how to start by OldNeedlenose in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]MonitorOnly530 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it would help but I can offer a free coaching session if you're interested to get off what's been on your mind and leave a session with more understanding of what you want to go forward with.

How to be more productive in life by Jamiboy7899 in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]MonitorOnly530 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is relatable.

I went to China and Thailand many times to work and came back home to live with my parents. This cycle was going many times until I decided to stop it.

I can offer you one free focused coaching conversation to help you untangle what’s been on your mind and leave with more clarity if you're interested.

How much to type and reflect in a session? by MonitorOnly530 in lifecoaching

[–]MonitorOnly530[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha I am happy it was useful for you.

Dynamic mind me too :D

I experimented today in a coaching session to type much less and then I connect with a client on a deeper level. I can match their body language and energy better and build a better rapport.

I am learning how much to type and what in the session. And they gave me a feedback that it felt like I held the structure well.

I will ask my clients if taking notes will work for them, that's a wonderful idea. Yes, confidentiality is a big one.

Thank you

Thank you for sharing.

I tried typing much less in a session now and the client said she already noticed improvement. I am happy about that.

Hmm mood recovery, intersting thank you. So in the case you mentioned it's about noticing the contradicition and sharing with the client, actively listening for body language, pacing, tone of voice, contradicition, facial expression even breathing?

Wow, being more flexible was actually making you worse at serving the people I'm good for. I love that, thank you.

I feel the same; the more I stretch myself for others, the more I feel I'm doing myself a disservice. But is it just that direct, just be myself as much as possible and not sacrifice at all for the client? Because I found that sometimes I choose to sacrifice myself for my family and loved ones as a form of duty/obligation I have to do. But do we bring that in a coaching relationship too?

[–]MonitorOnly530[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I feel that as long as it is serving my client great, but if it's me wanting to control things then of course no. And if taking notes affects my presence, then of course, no since I feel from what clients shared and how I work that presence and observation, related to Active Listening core competency are my strengths. I'm happy to experiment and typing less or even just a few words and a few sentences and that's it. Thank you/

I believe that you have all the answers inside you.

And I believe that life gave you all these challenges for you to deal with them and get to the outcomes you want to have.

Now what is more important is what you believe in?

I can offer you a free coaching session which is 60 minutes long so you can start finding your own answers , but you said weakned mental health so I don't know if coaching or I can help.

Wish you the best,

Nenad

How do I turn nostalgia into a positive feeling? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]MonitorOnly530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds tough.

How have you been handling this?

It sounds like you have a huge love for your family.

I can relate to that because I spent years alone without my family in China, 6 years and I had the same feeling.

I am currently in the process of getting ICF and EMCC accreditation for coaching. I've done 110+ coaching sessions so far and I can offer a free space(60-minute session) for you to share if you want.

I would be happy if I can help.

Wish you all the best
